I think there should definitely be a replica of Prince Ruperts Tower somewhere on the site. I know its not exactly a statue, but its importance to the club can not be ignored.
I heard from very reliable sources that the 2 statues will be Mr. Drone and CP Overview. Other forces would like to see David Badcock and Dunc the Blue. I have not made my decision yet but I think Dixie would be a good choice 😂👊👍
Vis-à-vis the statues Mr Nick, first - Mr Howard Kendall the greatest Evertonian for me and maybe a statue dedicated to the people who collectively built this wonderful piece of architecture. Thank you so much for the vids. Cheers, Micky.
You look like,a kid in a sweet shop now Nick lad .Im a coventry fan and im enjoying see this magnificent new stadium heading towards completion .Amazing ..
Mentioned it on another video of your Nic but I think a Model of Goodison Park ( just in front of shop entrance) from the 60/70s when it was the best stadium in the country and used for World Cup Semi-final could even have 4 of the greats on each corner that played in that WC Yashin, Eusebio, Beckenbauer and Pele would be of interest to Football fans in general and then maybe a Southall and Kendall statues on the blue bricks, what do fans think?
As ever a great video, Nick. Whatever great moments are to come at the new stadium I will never forget when the grass looked greener, the pitch lights arrived and your car, hopefully, avoided a splashing in the wee hours of Tuesday, November the twelfth, 2024. Keep it up, Nick - the Kevin McCloud of drone video broadcasters and the only one I enjoy watching from start to finish. COYB!
What an extraordinary video, Nick, with the advantages and disadvantages of "Live Reporting". Comical, astonishing and once in a lifetime few moments. 1) Police Interceptors. 2) Mic issues such that most will have only learned that the Travellers' Dogs were not at all happy with proceedings. 3) A clever bait for clicks by pointing out the Statue plinth areas and asking what people think should be the statues located there, even though I suspect the club decided that some time ago. It might be an idea to have the managers who won us Top League trophies on those plinths and 5 players including Big Nev, Brian Labone and Big Dunc plus 2 more in the gaps between the Wind-baffles along the South Concourse. 4) It's good to see that the stitching has been completed and the machine has departed the site. 5) There was sublime irony in the fact that the historical docks and work patterns of old, displayed by Shire Horses enjoying their workout dragging a cart of impressive old barrels to a Drama Production Set, literally alongside a reflection of the new use for one of the docks, by brand new tractors pulling the first of the 8 UV Light Arrays to the Works entrance to get them right round Nelson Dock and the West Quay to the PItch Tunnel. 6) The amusement of watching your brain whirring away at the wee moment you'd witnessed and how you couldn't but help reveal it in as politic way as you could. Priceless.
@@gavin6381 Yes. If you stop this video at 8:06 mins, look near the centre-right of the screen and you can see the back ends of at least 3 caravans in the strip between the light-coloured, odd-shaped-rooved, brick building and the blue-walled building beyond. That strip runs to Blackstone Street about 10m away from where Nick's car was parked. If you stop the video again at 11:48 mins, when Nick is showing us the 'wee lady', then you can see there's a gate between 2 brick walls, which is the entracne to that strip.
Cracking content Mr Drone the dogs you could hear did'nt help, the horse and car with the Beer Barrels just needed Harold and Albert steptoe as the man below said in the comments as the drone spotted it that was a classic very old school But the stadiums a lovely sight to see and there was no need for the urinating next to your card especially in broad daylight unbelievable,
It's not grass, it's bloody green coloured plastic. Like football these days. I blame Gareth Southgate. Ever since that wally football has gone down the shitter!
Great vid again nic. You got one or two over the other droners. Woman going for a burst and a horse an cart, i think that drone went into a parallel universe, once those lights in position that grass will shoot up. Good timingvagain mate.
Intrigued by the horse and cart ! Seriously all looking great and pitch will really get going the next few weeks. Re the statues, any one know why are the Dixie and holy trinity not moving to the new ground ?
The horse and cart was being used in filming for a Netflix series called the House of Guinness, set in 19th century Dublin and New York. Scenes are being shot in the Stanley Dock warehouse. The same location used several times in Peaky Blinders. It was going on this afternoon, and over the last few days, including night time scenes.
Another great vid nick, I may be wrong but I think the horse and cart may have something to do with Peaky blinders film as they do alot of filming for series in Liverpool docks area 👍
This is a great video update, thank you for taking the time out to film. 👏🏼 Is it possible to wear a microphone so we can hear you better against the background traffic?
Great video again, mate! I was looking forward to that solid bank of Blue, with safe standing generating a hostile atmosphere. The lower North stand should have been safe standing as well! We old Casuals may have to sit down, and I do need an allocated area, but where are the youth who want to stand and fight, so to speak? That is the atmosphere!
“HELLO it’s Mr Drone. It’s Tuesday 12th November 2024 and today I’m going to show you -Police doing a raid on a vehicle -a woman urinating in an alleyway -Floodlights stopping traffic -Horse and carriages delivering barrels Oh…and we have Bramley Moore Dock!
With the pitch being completed such a long time before the stadium opening, I wonder whether Everton might do some open training sessions here as test events?
Hi Nick. Another great video of the pitch progress etc . But the sound quality wasn't very good . A lot of background noise on it . Has never been a problem before . Cheers
Great vid but the sound was a bit off on the vid I popped over there Saturday on my way to the comic con, it looked beautiful and massive! Can’t wait to find my brick (when they’re down) and take a game in
Hi nick great vid as always someone asked who our first game should be against our first league game was Accrington stanley 8th Sept 1888 maybe a good 1
Obviously Mr Freidkin will have some very wealthy friends, some of these friends may well have the odd yacht or two, my question is, will the dock (King's Dock?) Be accessible to the boat owning community, I believe that the swing bridge is still operational but where would they be able to access the dock from.
Hi mr drone I have noticed the stitching machine has gone now. I. Could just hear you talking because of a dog 🐕 barking and seagulls squawking. Lol the pitch is getting along fabulous. Like your videos I really love them can't wait for our next game at home to Brentford. Come on you toffees. Are those horses 🐎 and a barrel cart I noticed as well. Is it a classic vehicle parade. Lol
Not sure the correct terminology here, but are they still planning on putting in white seats for accents? To spell out “1878” & “Everton” like in the original video of the stadium plans? If so, do you know when?
Accents?! There won’t be white seats spelling out EFC, Everton or 1878. All seats blue (unless a sponsor wants to pay a fortune for their logo in white seats).
Mr Drone are you going to chronicle the construction of the Morecambe Eden Project with your impressive piece of aerial apparatus once they start building it? Now would be a good time for one to capture the scene before construction begins in earnest next year. I appreciate it is not a five minute drive down the road from you.
Mutley doing the voice over there. Sound quality a bit wuff. Battersea subtitles required. Visuals made up for it though. If you were asking for our thoughts on statues, I think you're barking up the wrong tree. The club should be taking the lead (I'm here all week) on that with the fans. As we havent heard anything, are we to presume its already been decided? Anyway, once we've moved in, I hope we Winalot...
Anyone any idea what colour the ‘hard standing’ area between the pitch and the advertising hoardings is gonna be? Personally, I hope not blue. Think would be just too much blue. Might look a bit silly. The tan colour is it now looks ok. Thanks 🙏🏻
It's probably going into the car park or materials area for now on the other dock. They can bring it right the way around then onto the west stand car park once they need to.
Definitely is a Kenwright statue mate, according to my sources. He's standing proud, smiling and pointing at a briefcase in his other hand with the words 'Arteta money' etched in gold leaf. Fact.
The sound on your video is terrible mate. I personally would love a Duncan Ferguson statue at the North end of the east plaza so any players looking out the window can see what being an Everton player should mean. At the southern end, either One for Big Nev or maybe a statue of our greatest full backs
I think there should definitely be a replica of Prince Ruperts Tower somewhere on the site.
I know its not exactly a statue, but its importance to the club can not be ignored.
sound is far to low

DEFFO Dixie.
Yeah with an inscription saying I it’s not finished yet or I’ve been informed by Ped 🍆
Loved that! The dogs, the cops, the horses - brilliantly hilarious!
Yeah, amusing…but could hardly hear Mr D

Definitely needs to be a Neville Southall statue
I want a Brett Angel Statue! 😂
Sounds like your 🎤 mic malfunctioned.? But it was still great to see the lighting for the pitch arriving.
The comedy value in today's video is BAFTA-worthy!! 🤣😆
The Horses were beautiful. What a lovely moment.

Horse and cart delivering Dykes game plan and tactics for our next game.😉

I was there earlier in the day and there was deffo something going on in that street. There was vans and mini busses everywhere
The last Corinthian - Brian Labone should have a statue and Big Nev ! COYB💙

Back in the day, we had hiding places lol!
Don’t know if it was just my phone. But your commentary was very quiet. I could hear the traffic and barking dogs very clearly though.
