- I took you guys to school with me and filmed a day in my high school this week! My school is currently under construction, that's why there's barely anything on the walls or any decorations haha.

You Canadians are so laid back, being able to record like this in school and being so open really boggles my American mind because here in Virginia, maybe because it's just my school, you get stopped in the hallway for literally everything, you get a warning for wearing a jacket. You talk critiquing the school, you get a call to the office, talking is a no no and recently they took away sitting freely at lunch. I would want to actually see what Canada is like in person.

@FLoof :D yeah, where in my area (Saskatchewan) I've seen it be -40°C and 40°C in the span of a year. Around -30°C is standard winter temperatures, and 30°C isn't uncommon for the summers. Not to mention the winds.

School in canada starts the monday or tuesday after labor day so thats in september

How did you make friends? Was it easy?
hi! at first, it wasn't really, but after a while, you will definitely find friends. Don't worry! I would just advise to also approach people, I know it can be scary at first :) Oh and join any clubs, sports or after school activities that you are interested in, that helps so much with meeting new people!

Just be yourself, and trust the process. There will be moments where you feel homesick, but you have to appreciate these moments as well. One thing I learned is to not think about certain things to much, you only have a limited time, so try new things and explore! :)
