I know it can get boring playing the game with the same settings, but honestly, I enjoy hearing everything the way it was set up before. I miss those loud confirmed kills.
Great vid as always. I turn off the loot icons entirely, sure it takes out the chest icons as well, but after I get the equipment I like/want, I stop caring about chests. I definitely have to try the voice volume setting. I've always wondered why a soldier would be yelling at his teammate 3 feet away from him. LOL
I love the 553, it's very pleasurable to use. The AC-AR is also quite pleasurable and has even better sounds. And thanks for the sound tips...gonna have to mess with mine. But, first, I must brew beer! 😁
I personally use the cross hair to help line up my rocket launcher against those turrets but besides that I normally have it off as I get more stuff that can easily take them out
I turned the UI sound to 10. No hit sounds, but you still get a slight click when you switch fire modes, and the detection sound is ever so audible. This to me is acceptable, since it sort of mimics the "feeling" you get IRL when someone's staring at you. That said, the detection meter is getting turned off.
I turned voice audio down 1st time playing in the intro after the chopper crash, the voice volume is confusing as fuck, I would see npcs in the distance and not realize it was them talking at first and think there was someone else closer.

I have to agree. It’s more realistic to not hear the enemies conversations from far far away. Now can you still hear conversations using the binoculars? 🤔

I never saw your comment, or I don't remember seeing it. Again, I stumbled across it by accident because of the detection sound was bugging out. Was super weird. Still does it if I up the UI volume.
@ At least you can still hear Wolves and heavies helmets ping off with the volume at Zero. Also set Loot Notifications to Light then you won’t see the downed enemies loot which you don’t want.

In the base where you couldn't find the enemy or any other reason for the alarm, did you check the room locked with biometrics? I think I once had an enemy inside.
I was just thinking that. This base, Skell house, and a coast luxury area in Liberty has done this to me, where an enemy spawns insides the biometric room and they can't come out, like the biometrics stopped working. But if you kill them, the biometrics work again! LOL
Have you considered playing with the Spartan mod? I think it makes the game far more realistic and hardcore. Enemies detect you from farther away, especially snipers; suppressed gunfire only stays unnoticed at a certain distance; even ammo is hardee to come by, making ammo management crucial.
Probably the MWAL-DA. Can be found at the airport, South are of Liberty province. Great attachment. Sucks that with NVG on the flashlight is so bright, to me it makes it hard to see.

Btw indestructible lights (with bullet) can be turned off with EMP 😉

Nice work. I lowered the voice volume early on and do the same in most games.

I did check, I used the Pathfinder class drone and scanned the area, there was no enemy near. Was super weird.

UI audio off also turns off the phbt sound bullets make on hit. It's awesome. Have to try lowering the voice volume though.
The mawl would be PERFECT if you could just toggle the illuminator light on and off!

What’s the UI volume for?
UI volume removes the hit marker sound when you shoot a enemy, it also removes the sound while in the pause menu.
Consider changing the language they speak, too.
