Well, maybe. In one of the Persona 3 Portable yonkomas (basically a four panel manga thing), the FeMC was aware of the trio peeping and offered to keep quiet about it if Junpei and Akihiko served her for a while (Ryoji was excluded because she thought he'd enjoy it too much).
My personal head canon is that if they had given themselves up right away as soon as Kotone walked in, she would've been understanding and let them go. She saw that it had only just changed from boys to girls, if the boys weren't hiding and left immediately they wouldn't have had time to peep. That said, the longer they sit trying to hide while the girls are enjoying the bath, the greater and more painful their execution will be.
In Japan they love to do stage plays for video games, that’s where the audio comes from I believe. And I mean stage plays for an lot of video games, I believe Danganronpa has one, Persona 3-5 of course, even Corpse Party
