My favourite book of the year so far is a mystery/fantasy genre blend called The Tainted Cup. I’m so glad you’re enjoying your reading so far this year!
I feel like this year I’ve leaned into finishing books series, so I’m focusing more on that. I read the inheritance games which was fantastic! And I finished the Scythe series with Thunderhead being my favorite. Like you, just making it a fun reading year. Also I love you channel because you read for you and it shows. Your recommendations are always fantastic
I read all of Agatha Christi's books by the time I was 14. I had the experience of watching on a massive screen, the movie with Albert Finney as Hercule. I love Thrillers because of Agatha. I also have No One Can Know, on my TBR list. Thank you for your review! I'm leaning away from Simone St. James as I hear the paranormal aspect throws the story off. Love your channel! Elizabeth
Great tag. I would rank I Who Have Never Known Men as one of my top books of the year. My favorite series I’ve been reading this year is Robin Hobb’s Liveship Trader series. I finished the second book a week or two ago and it was wonderful. My least favorite book wasn’t bad. It was just alright and that would probably be The Kingdom of Sweets.
Fun tag! I am glad you are having such a good reading year. My favorite book so far is The Bodyguard by Katherine Center - my first by her but definitely not my last.
My favorite so far is definitely I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman. It's so hard to recommend because of the absolute desolation and darkness involved, but I loved it. My least favorite is Good Half Gone By Tarryn Fisher, which breaks my heart because she is an all time favorite. But I can't believe I read another book with this awful twist. My newest fave BookTuber is Lit With Leigh. She's hilarious.
This is my first year as a "real" reader, meaning it's the first year that I've been keeping track and made a goal. My goal for 2024 was to read 10 physical books, which I have already surpassed! I've read 11 books and have listened to 7 audiobooks. I'm curious, when you say you've read 19 books so far, does that include audiobooks?
Are you talking about the 3 colored ones? Those are the first three books in The Shatter Me series … I was going to sell them but now I’m a bit curious 🤣
So glad to see someone else mention The Collected Regrets of Clover. That was one of my favorite books of 2023!
Such a good book!!
Ahhhh you’re so sweet! Thank you for mentioning me. 🥹 I’m always dipping my toes into new genres but I’m a fantasy gal through and through. 🫶🏻
Ahh, I didn't realize you have always read fantasy - now I'm going to have to go checkout some of your older videos :)
I get so excited when you post ! Enjoy your book reviews so much.
Ahh, thank you!!
