I bought the new cheapy gigabyte gaming b760m ddr4 with a whopping 4+1 VRM and was very disappointed because i never thought about VRM, just figured with a "gaming" label the board would just work with a 13th i7. It did not do well. I had about a 20% decrease in lots of benchmarks. it had okay single core performance but anything more intense and i basically wasted my money. Ddr4 doesn't slow down the processors that much when i pulled other benchmark setups but that VRM is critical. Bought this board because of your video, cant wait to try it out.
Hello, I was wondering about the comment on the 14700k. I plan to do a build with this mobo in a few days with a 14700k, and I was wondering, what would actually happen if I were to set intel limits of 253W and do 100% workloads with this (with a thermalright frost spirit 140 v3 cooler) across a few hours? TIA
With 253w it would do just fine with extended loads even for 24h, provided sufficient cooling is applied. But why buy an expensive cpu and limit it? Doesn't make sense to me.
@@ArtyomExplainsEng I cannot find the 14700 here, that was my first choice. I'm going to strap the thermalright frozen spirit 140 on it. Do you think it should be enough to cool it? And isnt 253W intels recommended?
Why you don't recommend using a i7 14700K with it? I'm actually in doubt about i5 14600K and i7 14700K for a mostly 3D modeling build. The i7 would have trouble on this mobo?
I can get a much cheaper board for 12400f, unless the plan is to switch to 14600k/14700k or something else with 6-8 cores with K in the name, it makes no sense to buy this board.
@@ArtyomExplainsEng may I ask what would You recommend for i5-12600k? What kind of mobo? I do some video editing and I upload videos to TH-cam ... I am looking for days, what motherboard would be ideal, which is not more expensive than this one.. Thank You very much!

How is the aorus board working for you?
wow, this mobo review is the best one i have seen. sadly this mobo has cheap realtec, was not aware of it
Sound? You get good sound only on expensive boards, easier to get a sound card if you need it.
Great advice in this vid, thanks
Thx for the video!
can the 7700xt gigabyte readon fit in this motherboard?

can i use 11th gen i9 11900k
No
Do i need to update the bios on this board to support the 14700k right from the box? TIA
No. But you should still update the bios to latest non beta version.
Would be a good pairing with i5 12600k? not planning to oc it.
Yes
I plan to build a PC with this motherboard, along with a 14600KF and 32GB in dual channel, any recommendations?
Get a 2x16 or 2x24 6800 cl34 memory kit, update the bios and make sure you enable intel baseline profile if your do not plan to tune your CPU manually

would the i5 2600kf work well with this board? my in total budget mobo plus cpu is around 300
12600kf would work just fine. Do not go above 6400 xmp with ram, tho. 6400 cl32 is the best option, maybe even 6000 cl30 to be extra safe.
I’m considering buying this motherboard for Intel Core i7-14700 (non-K). Would it be the best choice?

6400 is ok for 13500? Because my country Gskill Trident Z5 cl32 6400 is cheaper than 6000 cl32
If you are ok with entering bios and reducing ram speed if it fails to properly work at 6400 then yes.
Why is there another exactly the same motherboard from Gigabyte that looks different?
