I attended an embroidery class with Creative Experiences at the beginning of August in France. It was an amazing experience! The hospitality and food were excellent, we had a great group of people, and the views were stunning. I highly recomend booking an embroidery class with them.

Great Interview ! I am excited to join the April experience with Ann. I went to Tuscany in April 2025 with Nadine and Mark. It was fabulous!

This was another marvelous interview. As a sewist, I can totally identify with the sewing clothing problems that one encounters although I don't sew for the same reasons she did. I never had to perform the splits so had no need for that level of stretch. On the other hand, off-the-rack clothing has never fit me properly leaving me with modesty problems which made me be creative in what I sewed so the clothing looked right but didn't leave gaps or tear in some embarrassing place.
As a young person, I couldn't afford patterns for embroidery so I'd invent my own. In high school, I even made a piece for my art class. I didn't have any fancy fabric or threads and only knew a few stitches but I used what I had available in mom's scrap bag. That piece is still one of my most treasured items. I should get back to making my own designs for surface embroidery. It's lots of fun (for me, anyway) and I still have ideas running around in my head that need to be put down on paper at least.

      Hello Sandy,
What an interesting sewing and embroidery journey you’ve had! Thanks so much for listening. I hope you will begin designing embroideries again, it’s a wonderful creative outlet and always fun to work on your own design.
      Happy stitching! Ann

.....and yes, there is definitely a need for intermediate goldwork kits - would love it if Ann could put some together.
