The feedback is fair, but this is mostly just skill issue lol. You have infinite jumps for a reason, you were constantly using dashes, no wonder you can't align yourself right. And dying and coming back just to die again is smth common in Jetpack Joyride. The only problem being that there is no new content when you respawn so that's why it gets tedious. But honestly, I blame ADHD a little. Anyway, thanks for playing! And I hope at least this brought back some nostalgic memories for you!
@@crystalgames7744 i hadn't heard of jetpack joyride before. i was using dashes because they seemed more consistent than jumps. i had assumed that the pacing issues i had came from trying to cram everything into a single level rather than developing things more gradually over the course of multiple levels in a standalone game, but i might also just not find the core gameplay that compelling as a matter of personal preference. i never got that deep into canabalt even though it was a pretty good game with a similar style of gameplay (i.e. press the button at the right time to dodge the obstacles). i also tend not to stick to arcade-style games that don't end (super crate box and skull pogo are both excellent games that i haven't played much), so i'm probably not a good match for the infinite runner structure.
@@iambad Oh wow you never played JJ?! Unexpected lol. But yeah, during the dev I was thinking to make the dashes finite, but that was bringing more problems. Also spent a lot of time making this map less janky so I can understand how it can be frustrating. Gg tho!
ok so is everyone just gonna ignore the face in the background?

Oh also, fun fact! Apart from the explosion and the menu button, this map doesn't have any custom code!
@@crystalgames7744 woah seriously?
@@iambad Yep. A lot of creativity!
:O
IS THAT A JETPACK JOYRIDE REFERENCE!?
