Hi. Why don't you look in le Creuse. Departement 23. Lovely area. Yes, further down from North France, but so beautiful. I lived there for five years and loved it. Best wishes.
@susansirges8978 thank you...I learned French at school a long time ago...have got by when I visited in the past and am on day 280 of Duolingo so my CEFR (?) score is currently 32...I believe 50 is the requirement for a working visa...not that I'm planning to work. Mais je voudrais parler avec mes voisins.
I think the first house, as a move in ready place, is the winner. If you want a fixer upper, no.#2 is good, as long as it's structurally sound, and I would check that out VERY carefully. The price is exorbitant, though. And frankly, those beams are something that would be very difficult to make homely. Maybe it's the camera lens, but they're downright menacing.
The Normandy house has the bathroom downstairs only. No one pays asking price so you could up your price search to 160,000 or even 170,000 and still come within budget. Can I ask why you want so much land? That much land requires a lot of maintenance and physical hard work, not always a good idea as we get older.😐
Geographically very similar...but economically and culturally very different. But tbh I feel I have more in common with northern France than I do with Northern England. Chekov says it best "lost quite lost...is my mind so keen...living in a foreign land".
@@badseedbrighton46 I understand ... And thank you for the beautiful citation. (And i hough more about south England, the UK parallele Country to Brittany and Normand...

Just looking 👀 but soon making a decision between France & Italy ……
I’m here to see and learn ❤
Thanks for watching...I love watching Martijn Doolaard who is creating fantastic content in the Italian Dolomite mountains. ✌️

Is there a video showing your home? Maybe a viewer is interested :)
That's what I'd like to see...
Can we please see a descriptive video of your property?
Why in France ? Aren't Normandy and Bretagne the same, like England ?
