we already had “If I had a house I would make every window glass” and now “I’m not a big fan of glass doors” Thank you for keeping us updated on your glass preferences Mr Lester
This would be fun to do with Dan. Actually, you guys could each pick like three mansions you think the other would like and do a heartthrob thing in which you have to guess which mansion you think he would choose in the end. That would be fun!
I once saw a game where people picked out the worst homes from pillow, then their friends had to improv act like they were selling it (without knowing what it looked like ahead of time). Could be a fun dan and Phil game
I actually remember that house from years ago! I think I remember something about the town being built for a wife with dementia, but it was Facebook era so that's probably more a nice story than a fact
Philly, you’ve got a real talent for making every word out of your mouth a quotable moment, because I just know ‘Oh, I’m just missing the pepper, can you get it out of Cabinet 73?’ is gonna bounce around my head like a Windows screensaver
Phil asking us if we think a vampire could inhabit the first house when there are countless windows to let in constant sun really exemplifies that we are so back
why do most of the rooms in the mansions have like two pieces of furniture and then there is just this endless void, why do rich people need so much empty space, to do backflips all over the house? 😂
to be fair ive never felt more desire for a mansion that watching the rich girlies on Instagram who could do whole gymnastic floor routines in their hall. Reckon if I had one of these houses I’d be roller skating around the place constantly
The scribble house genuinely feels like an AI generated house where the prompt is that Microsoft paint drawing. It made me feel so dizzy looking at it 😵💫
It reminds me of this big library we have in Seattle. Except the area of the library with the artsy curved halls isn't packed with furniture so it's much less claustrophobic.
I'm surprised nobody else is pointing this out! He really looks so good with the new hair and the turtleneck, it's quite art student chic (Edit, turns out if you scroll far enough everyone is pointing this out. Good work guys)
oh i just watched a video on that castle! it has a dark history so it is still on the market after all this time. the guy who built it moved away his family, pays minimum child support and has had some shady smexy stuff in there which is why there are poles and all that in the basement :) if you can overlook that and desinfect all the surfaces then go for it
I was so on board with the first three houses until Phil reminded me why I could never live in a house that brightly lit with no nice dark rooms: my migraines. I’d have nowhere to hide. Thank you for reminding me why every house needs either a basement or just a nice dark room, Philly.
That first one really does literally look like it was made in The Sims, like.. totally, I feel like I'd hear that and be like "Yeah, right, I'm sure it doesn't really" but nope, that does.
fun fact: stilts are actually surprisingly durable. in south florida, a a lot of early 20th century houses that survived hurricanes are on stilts, it's very interesting. the more modern pérez museum in miami was built on stilts to protect from flooding and storm surge.
IVE ACTUALLY BEEN TO 13:30 FOR A WEDDING, IT WAS RENTED!!!! We were only allowed into few rooms obviously but i took a peek into one of them and it had a strip pole... Me and my friends joked around that the owner practices pole dancing in there
im not even joking, the house at 9:30 is an EXACT replica of the house from a dream i had the other night. I was looking for medicine and was getting so overwhelmed in this house because there were so many cabinets, and i had to call my mom and ask for help and she found them immediately. the dream starts getting weird bc after she found them she told me that my dad hired a Homelander impersonater to scare me bc he knows I'm scared of him but when i went to go see him i was like "wait why is he kinda..."
Hi Phil, I just wanted to say that I have always loved your videos, but now that I am an adult with a big girl job some days I get so anxious before my meetings or big projects and pulling up your newest video always calms my nerves. Thank you for always putting a smile on my face. And Dan of course
I like the way wood panelling is now “cabinets”. There were a lot of cabinets, but not as many as Phil was seeing. Also: poor Missouri. Or Moregon as it is now apparently known.
For the first mansion, that little inside town was unironically my favourite part haha. Would I ever buy/build/own a place that has that? no. But like, atleast its more mellow theming compared to the bleakness or sterile look of the rest of the mansion haha
i've always said that the winchester mystery house is my dream home, so honestly that spooky ass haunted mansion is such a vibe. i'd definitely be living there and just enjoying being haunted if i was absurdly rich. the other houses were cool too, but god damn i'm such a sucker for creepy ass haunted looking houses.
"I didn't get enough mountain lookin' out my window. I need the mountain in my house. I need more mountain." not phil just defining the colorado identity by accident
idk if it's the fact that I'm zooted but this is genuinely the funniest amazingphil video I've ever seen edit: I commented this like halfway through the video and I just nearly choked laughing so hard at phil being jumpscared by the gun range lmao
Those big open spaces are kind of scary to me! I definitely don't love the squiggle house. Probably going to vote for the Mario Kart mansion! Also, your hair looks lovely today!

Hi Phil!
the amount of tabs i have open at all times is a little concerning

I've got my tabs down to 42 on my phone. I'm amazed it's below 50. Maybe that's why my pages keep freezing...😆
