Dan actually did such a good job trying to help Phil like these things and the cheese ramp up was not too terrible. It was good to see the growth Phil! 💗 edit: well Dan was doing good until the moldy cheese at least.
Phil has a good nose, doesn't he? I think he feels the funkiness a lot more than others do, like his nose is on high alert. Very helpful in not eating spoiled food, I'd imagine!
They need to redo this with the cheeses prepared in the best way. Grill the halloumi, give him a green apple with the brie, give it the best chance
give him some brie and cranberry mmmmm
P: "What's inside it? What is that?"
D: "Shut the hell up."
Ah Dan, never change. 😂
As an extreme picky eater, this is like watching a horror film.
On a real note: phil should try a cheese called "saint angel" speicifically a bit on a cracker from the middle of the cheese away from the rind. Its a triple creme brie comes in a triangle/square and it tastes like butter. Its a gentle and soft intro to cheese. Also, i worked as a cheese monger and i can tell you even im a bit iffy on blue cheese 😅
A cheese monger who is iffy on blue cheese? 😭
i love seeing phil react so violently to tiny amounts of cheese as i eat my own mac n cheese
I'm more amazed at the fact that Phil describes the flavor as spoiled milk. Like, I know it's spoiled milk, but all I taste is creamy heaven. 😂
Phil bullying himself to eat the olive "DOWN IT FRESHER" was hilarious. Good on you for trying things you don't like Phil. Wish I could get my husband to do that lol. Dan, it was lovely to hear you!
Rewatching this a year later and I cannot believe Dan didn't make him try mozzarella. It is literally the cheese you put on pizza!
As a fellow cheese hater, this is psychological warfare.
Genuinely curious - Why do Dan and Phil fans also talk in hyperbole?
@@NR-jr4sf dunno i think it's something we all pick up from these two eventually
as another cheese hater, I don't think that's exaggerated at all.
@@NR-jr4sf most of us have been fans since we were relatively young, and when we're young we adopt humour from everything we're surrounded by. Dan and Phil fans tend to be introverted, so our main influences would've been Dan and Phil, parents, and teachers. So we're pretty much doomed to pick up the "hyperbolic phrases make things funnier" mindset.
@@moontoosoon2152 “psychological warfare” is hyperbole, because in the context, we are talking about cheese
Dan, trying to calm Phil: "BRING IT BACK BRING IT BACK BRING IT BACK"
I felt so bad for Phil, he deserves all the ice cream in the world after that
the single cheeto (wtf is a wotsit) on the board full of cheese has me SCREAMING
Wotsit is just the uk version of cheeto
