Limitations of the Unemployment Rate

Perhaps one of the most referenced macroeconomic indicators, the unemployment rate has some pretty major flaws. It does not represent the situation faced by perhaps millions of people who are out unsatisfied with their employment situation in a country.
In this video we'll review what the unemployment rate DOES measure, but also examine what it does NOT measure.
