Okay, I was absolutely shocked to see not just another Corvette, but a C6, a ZR1, and in YELLOW! The C6 platform will just never get old for me. I do have to recommend a full changeover to LEDs at every portion possible on the car: headlights, fogs, side markers, tails, reverse lights, etc. It does so much to modernize the look. Can't wait to see your mod choices with this timeless beauty!
I've always felt this way living in PA about 3 hours away. I live closer to Pittsburgh so anytime I hear any TH-camrs talk about the city I'm like holy shit
You guys were only about 15 miles from where I grew up. I got out of there 9 yrs ago and every time I go back it's a reminder of why. It's so overpopulated now that even at midnight the roads are busy. Most of my work was in Manhattan and I had to drive so I spent much of my time on the same roads going just as slow as you guys. I had to leave at 5am to drive 40-45 miles to make sure I had time to find parking to be on a job site before 7am. Going home was 2.5 hrs but Fridays 3hrs. Now I'm in PA near Pocono Raceway and I have a 7 minute drive to work.

Almost gonna need a vehicle lift in the shop there. And a resident mechanic. Start doing some performance mods for people. It would give you a steady stream of cars to use as content (be part of the service agreement- you get to film the test flights and stuff). Nice ZR-1 btw. Love the clear hood window

the c6 zr1 actually has quite a few “rare colors” 1 2009 in lemans blue, 11 2012 in carlisle blue, 35 2009 in atomic orange, 54 night race blue in 2013, and 69 inferno orange in 2011-2013. (don’t quote me on this, got this info from corvette blogger forum) velocity yellow is perfect for your garage though, I voted for it over the r8 even though the r8 beat it by a landslide😅
Yep, the C6 ZR1 has 4 other colors that also happen to be rarer then velocity yellow besides the colors you mentioned. My favorite would probably be SSB though
Absolutely love the C6 ZR1. You have had several and I was sad you didn't keep them, hopefully this is a forever car like the C7 ZR1. The C6 ZR1 is arguably one of the best Corvettes of all time!
I’ll never forget when my great uncle brought his ZR1 over and took me for a ride. Absolutely blown away and I feel in love with C6s, especially ZR1s. Congrats man that thing is a sweet ride!

Welcome to Long Island... You took the route I always take from Chester County when I visit my family on Long Island..... I've had my C6 Vette for 5 years, and have yet to drive it to NY. The roads, especially the Cross Bronx, are crap. My Splitter be gone by the end of the drive. He's right, avoid the Southern State...lol Traffic is a nightmare. Enjoy that ZR1...Its a Beauty!!!!
My 2010 is Cyber Gray Metallic. I've seen them in every color except Crystal Red Metallic. I've seen photos but never in person. That color is awesome. So glad to have another C6 on the channel. Cheers from Florida.

That video is a perfect discretion of the traffic in the NE USA I used to drive long haul there with a 53 ‘ trailer and it was absolutely horrible, not worth the money I was making to do it. So much better in a regular vehicle, but traffic still is horrible.

Congrats on the new beast! I wish I could get into something like that....I've only got a 03 lifted ram 2500 with 173,000 miles and a hemi 5.7....ugh she's getting old but better condition than most rams! I need something better.
That drive is why auto/cvt and start stop/hybrid makes sense. Stationed in NJ with a manual car and made the worse mistake of going to NYC in Friday evening rush hour traffic.
