    I live in La but went to Steamboat Springs to get married when I was 18yrs old. We have talked about moving there but we never have. Maybe we will in the next few years. I am now 54yrs old and still in love with the same one!!!

    I lived in steam boat for three days in a bread and breakfast cabin and it had an xbox, pool table, three floors, and amazing views

    Wow, I loved the place when I visited when I was young in the Army in Co Springs. I loved it and have never forgot it. I'm looking for a place to move to live out my life in a few years where it's beautiful. Great place! Thanks for the video.

    What’s the job market like? Do they have real jobs or is it all tourism stuff?

    Thank you Kevin! There is even more that we could have included. I just filmed a few short clips. Most of this was done by a friend of mine for us.

    Thanks for posting this. For real Heaven on earth. I first skied there in 1982. I was in the Air Force stationed in Cheyenne. After that first weekend all my military pay went to skiing there every weekend I could. It's like the aloha spirit Colorado mountain style. Unpretentious, super friendly folks. I've been all over the world now and hope to retire there.

    Me and my parents plan to live there however I’m native San Diagan I am adult on the autism spectrim mild case of aspergers my question would be how much toleration is there I don’t make scenes in supermarkets but I am slow translating money when I’m not fast enough . in a parking lot if I don’t walk fast enough would scar honk and touch the back of my legs

      Rebekah, thank you for your question. I don't have direct experience but I can say that the pace is slower here and we are community of pretty nice people for the most part so I wouldn't anticipate issues as the vast majority of people should be patient and accommodating for you.

    Do you have to be rich to live here?

    • @4SteamboatRealEstate
      @4SteamboatRealEstate  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +Cornelius Maximillianus We all make a tradeoff to be here. It is more expensive but the return in community and lifestyle is worth it if you are passionate about living in a small mtn town. Those that are are much happier here. It's cheap to live in a city but you spend a lot more shopping and on entertainment. Housing costs are high here but many of the best things to do are inexpensive or if they do cost more you can focus some and have some amazing experiences in the time you would be commuting elsewhere.

      Jon Wade in Steamboat I have decided to move to Colorado because I'm an avid cyclist and Colorado is a giant playground. I'm from Connecticut and I am doing some home work to decide which town I wanna settle down, thank you for your insight. I don't think I wanna live in Denver even though housing can be cheaper in some areas. I would like a small town between mountains. Steamboat Springs always sounded exotic for me from the videos I have seen.

      +Cornelius Maximillianus Let me know if you want to talk. I get a fair number of people that said they moved to Denver or Boulder thinking they were moving to the mountains but it is still too far to do the things they moved here for with the traffic etc. Denver and Boulder are great but there is nothing like a small mountain town for access and ease of doing what you love multiple days a week. My number is 970-819-6930

      As a former visitor to the area, I would say yes! It's a well kept community and classy. The people are amazing, not snobbish in nature; which makes vacationing there pleasant!

      Steamboat isn't as diverse as many places but is very accepting in my experience including several friends that are happy here.
