The Customer Obsession point was key for me. It's not about your engineering prowess but about how the customer's life is improved by the work you do. Thank you, Sajjaad👍
Even if you’re not a software engineer, a lot of what was said here is applicable to any position. Such as mentorship, coffee chats, being charismatic, “shifting your work to being a business impact” phew 😮💨 that was a bar 😂 this was very insightful!
thank you! very useful info im about to go to uni in a few months for CS so these are probably gonna help me a ton, especially regarding time and energy management
Should we go for DSA or Web Dev? Should we do both if we have time? How to build connections? How to be impressive at Hackathons? (To be able to land a place in the good list of the first person)...
I will talk about MY experience. If you need money now, go for projects, learn web dev and try freelance to gain xp. If you want to go for the long run, keep studying DSA, and try to get into hackathons and competitions.

Over seas devs are amazing. How ever I don’t think its realistic to be 1% its so subjective to the employers view.

Bro is not even close to becoming a top 1% software engineer
Why you say that? Whars your definition of 1%?
