The legendary 70's was much more that the greatest era in music...it was a state of mind that hasn't been duplicated in any other decade since. ABBA was a one of a kind group that transcended time with a blockbuster masterpiece of perfection!
There is only one voice of a singer that is capable of breaching my many layered psyche in such a way and that is Agnetha Faltskog's voice, she does that every time.
I'm lucky to live in Australia because Australain TV loves ABBA. Three or four times a year we have ABBA special TV programs in Australia. Australia is the first country recoganised ABBA.
ABBA toate piesele voastre raman in amintirea noastra pe VECI !!!!
Welcome to the good music retro generation. Glad you like to listen and absorb fantastic music instead of this modern day noise they disrespectfully call "music".. welcome aboard!
I'm 19 and have been listening to Abba ever since I was a little girl. :3 My dad loves Abba so I grew up listening to them and to this day I still listen and love singing the songs! :D
I was like 9 years old when this song came out. So freaking awesome! The music back then was so good... no cussing or violence, just Love, goodness and honest work and real music!
Ok, I'll give away my age a bit - grew up in the 50's/60's/70's - no matter, because one just needs to sit back and take art and entertainment for what it is and this is truly one of the best. To be so honored to perform for the KIng - whay hasn't anyone commented on that! Great video, great times.....shame we don't see this type, today. ABBA will live forever. Godless them.
Gosh, I miss this old music. It's too bad there is no one making anything like this these days. Go ABBA! Sweden's greatest contribution to modern music ever!
I miss the 70s and 80s so much! People were happy. None of the atrocious things we see in music and tv today. It was all about comedies, upbeat music. I miss it so much.
It is a shame that the special "magic" of the 70's cannot be repeated, thank God we have youtube and the great memories made during the best era of music in history!!
63 here... reading about how they donned costumes for this performance makes me love them even more. thanks for the memories, thanks for the music. ABBA forever.
Is this song a classic? Well let me tell you 35 yrs later when they play it at dance clubs it STILL elicits screams all across the floor. Unforgettable!
Abba will not be forgotten as one of the greatest talents in music; in fact in the history of rock and roll, worldwide, only 1 group has sold more records (those 4 lads from Liverpool)
ABBA pure Magic!!!! what kind of sound!!!! that's is art in its finest form...I love ABBA growing up with their music..what a song, my sweet heart Magali she's my dancing queen..I love you baby forever!! thank you ABBA!!!
Dancing Queen is an immortal song in the pantheon of songs. As long as people love to dance, and fantasize being queen/king of the dance floor, this song will be played and beloved.
"TIME" is a sad thing ,,,Some songs transport you back in time. Back to your youth when a smile came quickly and friendships abound....now I'm just an old man looking back to the times I missed and the time I took for granted....if anyone here is reading this postimg...do me a favor...don't waste this precious thing called TIME...live, laygh and be happy...have no regrets
ABBA ABBA ABBA ABBA ABBA ABBA ABBA ....... I love This song so much I think all peaple when theay see ABBA songs theay will be happy. Thank you ABBA.......... anmar from Iraq.
Miss music like this, fortunately my mother played her generation and older when I was younger so ABBA and bands similar are my favourite...even though I am a 90's kid.
I remember my mom playing this song when we would go for long drives along the coast of Nova Scotia when I was a little kid and visit Antony Park and Maitland. I remember those places so well. What I wouldn't do to be there again :( God. Where did this music go?
I have declared my love to Agneta on a lot of videos because I think she is the most fantastic female singer in the whole universe BUT now it's time to pay tribute to two of history's best songwriters, BJORN and BENNY. It is absolutely unbelievable how many great and timeless songs they have created. That in combination with two incredibly beautiful women with outstanding voices can only be a complete giant success.
@stingfan1000 I love how you put this. I could not have said it better myself, and it fully embodies the spirit of what ABBA set out to do, and that was to make music that reached the masses. I only hope future generations will have the chance to listen to this kind of music, when artists truly had talent and drive, and weren't simply mass manufactured.
this reminds me of the 1976 music i really loved there songs were great my most fav is its dancing queen or as called dancing queen i just luv it luv it luv it i always think about the song
In my humble opinion, the best pop music groups ever....ABBA, BG's and, BEATLES. And nowadays the great ....RAMMSTEIN. They all will live forever......
@maddogtannen1966, I agree with you 100%. Music was soo much better in the 70's and 80's than what we have today. We had more diverse groups and sounds to select from and most played their own music. Bands are few today and many sound soo much alike today. Just like you, i feel blessed to have lived that era of music. Thank God for the music of yesteryear
Absolutely fabulous! Awesome! They were, are and always will be 1 of THE best bands in the world! Their music will live on I'm sure for many a year to come. ( that blonde STILL gets my pulse going at a rate which is NOT good for my health(lolol) :))
My favorite and when I go out to the clubs today this song has had so many remixes that when the real one is played the young ones and us bit older ones still go crazy. I know good music.
Good music has longevity and stands the test called "time". I often wonder what so-called hits today will become the classics of tomorrow? We'll see....peace and a long life
The legendary 70's was much more that the greatest era in music...it was a state of mind that hasn't been duplicated in any other decade since. ABBA was a one of a kind group that transcended time with a blockbuster masterpiece of perfection!

There is dignity and grace of age in her countenance and smile that one cannot but instantly notice.
3 minutes and 53 seconds of pure musical ecstasy. Home made. No drugs but just pure beauty distilled into a song.

What an amazing song! It's great to dance to isn't it?
ABBA and The Beatles are definitely two of the best pop band in the history and their music will live on as long as music exists on our planet.
Is this song a classic? Well let me tell you 35 yrs later when they play it at dance clubs it STILL elicits screams all across the floor. Unforgettable!
