This video is a walkthrough and discussion of the Levenger Circa Sliver discbound notebook, a recent happy acquisition of mine. If you're a discbound planner enthusiast, this is for you!
Wow, what a happy coincidence! And with the added bonus of a good sale! I didn't know about this brand. I love how the silver discs look with the blue cover. I like all the inserts you purchased, too. They are well designed. Thanks for sharing! Your reviews are always so informative.
Oh what a great story! It was meant to be! I really liked the Levenger history because I wasn't really familiar with them. I like that this is more plain, sturdy, and professional looking than other discbounds. Great find!
+TheSassyPineapple Thanks! I think it really is a great brand. The clothbound covers are beautiful too. Fortunately I was trying to be somewhat minimalist or I would have bought everything in the shop! :)
Great story how you got it! I love the silver color of the discs! I do think that this system should be more widely available! Thank you for the mention of the dokibook, I didn't know about it - I'm going to check them out. I have set up an A5 ARC planner for myself because I was curious how it would look, I put my own planner pages inside, and I love it. I was experimenting if I could use the same pages in the A5 Filofax also, and just change the ARC system and Filofax interchangeably, but holes from discs and the regular holes seems to much for one sheet of paper!
+mysummertouch Thanks so much! Do check out the Dokibook/Lovedoki Instagram for the pictures of the 'mystery product'. When I checked their website a couple of days ago there was no mention of it yet, so I hope they make an announcement soon! Would love to see a video of your A5 ARC planner!
I went to Boston this week and they had recently closed the store. I was so disappointed. It was one of the reasons I was looking forward to going other than my conference.
+Bridgett Birmingham Oh no!!! I can't believe it - I was just there a few weeks ago! What a shame. That was the absolute highlight of my conference, so I really feel for you!
Thanks for the tip; just had a look at them. They look like the Staples ones - a shame because they only have leather and plastic covers, no faux leather :(
The junior size is a half size or 8.5 x 5.5 inches. I used an Arc version as my planner for over a year. I enjoyed it but the paper does start to wear out after awhile and starts coming out by itself. Even better paper will do it if you use it often.
+Jeanette DusksAngel Thanks; that's interesting to know. What you said fits with the impression I've got - I can imagine that the system is good for occasionally moving paper, but that it would't hold up to regular use. What system did you switch to after the ARC? :)
I moved to a personal size as well as using a traveler's notebook. I really like both for different reasons. I'm currently in the personal size again. I just enjoy being able to take things out and put other things in without having to redo everything.
I'm a long time Levenger customer. Really superb products. The quality and customer service is great. I'm surprised that they had a hotel shop. I've never seen or been aware of one. There is a outlet in Memphis, Tennessee (USA) and a few shops elsewhere.
+Sandra Tulloss Yes, I was surprised to find the shop too. It's in a shopping centre next to the hotel, and according to the website it's the only one in Boston. From what you've said I guess the website must not be accurate, though, because they only list three shops in total.
Thanks very much for letting me know about Atoma; I'd never heard of them! Meanwhile, since I made this video I've found discbound planner peace with the Dokibooks Discagendas, but it's always good to know about other discbound options so I'll keep Atoma in mind!
OMG talk less, You didn't even tell us anything on interest until 8 minutes in! and if you're looking to "um" less, write out a script and go through it thank just talking from your head.
Mari S I SO agree! Pleasing voice and expressions! But so little information! I learned nothing and had to stop because of presentation... For a “planner” PLEASE PLAN your presentation!

Thanks for sharing! I know what you mean - the ringbound system is perfect for that! :)

Why did I want sooo long to get this? I live in DC.
@Ralph Weston why is flixzone
The junior is actually taller and thinner than the A5
Since you live in the UK, why didn't you go with the Atoma line? Made in Belgium and available through CultPens.com
