    Video is little vague. You should have covered other aspects about their overall profile, and their GPA and work experience because this is what plays a major role while applying

    How much benefit does one get in applying early? I've seen you mention on LinkedIn that applying early, SoPs, LoRs play a greater role than GRE.
    Right now, I have a GRE score of 307 (163 Q, 144 V and scored almost 10 marks less than what I was in powerprep mock tests), 8 CGPA, 2 years work ex and should be done with my SoP and LoRs by this month end (Oct). There are 2 cases I'm stuck with right now:
    1.) I apply by this month end for MEM programs (most MEM programs do have GRE as optional) with a low GRE score of 307, Q: 163
    2.) Or retake it and apply by Nov end/ Dec 1st week with a better score of 315+ & Q: 165+.
    Which scenario would you suggest here? Will applying early by a month compensate for my low GRE score?
    Your advice would really help me here!

    • @NisthaTripathi
      @NisthaTripathi 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      307 is low. If you think you can score 315+, it might be worth retaking (if many of your target schools are asking for gre).
      For the schools who do not need gre, you shouldn’t wait n apply early.
      For schools that are keeping it optional, it’s your call but 307 is not worth submitting.
