Marwa why can t u just hire a proffesional who will fit kitchen sink, washing machine stove by the kitchen positions it's important they are done safely nd professionally. 4 sure u will need another skip for rubbish after clearing around unwill need somewhere to throw out rubbish it's better done properly once nd for all.

Painting on the wall is always done after the tiles. You just do one coat, after tiling you finish the last coats. You just need a protective paper on the tiles from the paint. Can't wait to see the end results and furnished.
Hi Marwa and Rocio, Just a creative thought! Given the limited space in the studio, it might work well to design the kitchen as a divider by placing it against the back wall with a floating island in front. This way, you could integrate a cooktop, oven, and compact fridge-freezer, maximizing space. The sofa could then go at the opposite end of the island, creating a cozy seating area that’s separate but still connected to the kitchen. The current cooker feels a bit bulky and takes up valuable space; plus, having it so close to the bathroom isn’t ideal for hygiene. Maybe the washing machine would fit better there instead. I agree with Rocio that since this will become an Airbnb, the finishing touches are especially important. Some areas, like painting and fixtures, feel rushed, and adding more attention here would elevate the quality overall. Marwa, I know you’re eager to get everything ready before the baby arrives, but try to relax a bit-living in an unfinished space that is still being worked on isn’t ideal for Rocio or the baby. Taking the time to ensure everything is done with care and professionalism will make all the difference. Hiring a professional painter, kitchen fitter, and even a landscaper for the garden could really help finish everything off beautifully. With a little more patience, the space will truly shine! Otherwise people won't rent. Just figure out the place where the conduct will be and make the hole before painting. 3) Buy PVC skirting boards ( click system. You can install them in a couple of hrs) + polystyrene moldings for the ceiling. 4) Maybe installing an open shelf over the kitchen tiles. Hooks under it to hang stuff + more space for kitchen stuff , hangin plants, etc 5) Outside walls, just use "Revear". It's like stucco and it comes in different colors.

The kitchen will look very expensive if you build a side wall right next to the stove the lenghth of the stove. They do this in new homes a lot. It will give privacy to bathroom and give the kitchen a complete look. Great job guys

Actually, you would not want to press the wall socket frames into the tiles but on the outside of the tiles, so that you do not have to fill any holes.
You need to have the electrician install spacers behind the electrical outlets to bring them flush with the tile. Then, the covers will ride on top of the tile. Rocio stick to your high standards. Warwa seems to accept half doing a job. Also, why would you use an old rusted out heater in the studio. A new heater should have been purchased, especially considering safety. You have a new baby coming into that home. Just my opinion.

Mr Lewis is so much fun....and a handyman around the house. Great job on the apartment. Looks good. Later on put a gazebo outside with a built in grill. Some big flower pots with plants and pavement. That place will be beautiful. I would also put a movable island in the kitchen area, for more counter space and a sense of separation. Also, a partitioning for the bedroom area using a large wardrobe for your clothes. Just some ideas.

To keep paint from getting on the floor use a drop cloth to absorb paint spills and/ to catch drips If you use cardboard tape down edges to help it stay in place 👍
You are referring to the Skirting board - which is fitted to the wall at the base where the wall and floor meet. This creates a clean finished appearance leaving no gaps. The small details matter
Everything is looking "Manganu" like Mayuguno would say! 😅 Painters use what is called "drop cloths" on "finished" floors to protect the floors wherever they are painting. The "drop cloths" or wide plastic covering for furniture and floors are sold where professional painters buy supplies. Recycle the plaatic to cover Don Luis' collection of auto parts that remain in your patio area. 😊
Marwa, if you go with Rocio to the bank they will take the card out and give it back to you. But take your ID with you! You also need to contact your bank/ card company. Because maybe they think your card has been stolen.

Good idea. I'd do it 1.5 times the size of the stove for more privacy, and it doesn't have to be a block but maybe a panel with a nice filigree work.
