Thank you for another awesome SAL, Kay. Your Mix and Match Bag is gorgeous. I love pretty fabrics you chose. Thank you once again for sharing your time and talent with us. Angel Huggers.
Yes it comes in 5x7 and 6x10 Gail. If you want an even bigger bag there is this one made in three hoopings per panel. www.kreativekiwiembroidery.co.nz/product/crazy-patch-bag.html
Yes that's right it is crazy patch but a bigger bag. I have heard that there might be other sizes added to the Mix and match set in the future but I can't tell you when that will be. The crazy patch bag is really nice, it is very well worth making as it is a great scrap-buster and even if you are not a crazy patch person yourself it makes a great gift.
I have never made a cork bag but I don't see why your couldn't. I suppose if it might make a bulky seam then sew it with the raw edge out because it won't fray.
Hi, Kay! I am sure I have commented here before, but I watched again today. I plan to make a bag with this design. I have a question. Is the type fleece you list in your materials above high loft as in thick? It doesn't look overly thick or high to me on the videos. But, I was thinking you used a batt that was pretty much flat. Thanks!
Hi Virginia I use Vilene 295 high loft fleece batting the high loft is part of its name. It is quite thick. It is my favorite for most stitch outs. The good thing about it is that the foot of my machine doesnt catch in the fibres like it would with regular poly batting. I hope this helps. I dont know what country you are in but here is a link to it on Amazon US so that you can see what it looks like on the roll. www.amazon.com/Vilene-Fleece-Batting-Wadding-White/dp/B01B3MCPT2

How long are the straps
Hi Grace. As long as you want to make them, the ones on my bag are short .
What is the finished size?
There are two sizes in the set at the moment, a 7x5 and 9x6.
