Absolutely beautiful, makes me sad to see how things could be, if we weren't destroying nature everywhere, here in Germany. We recently had two black-throated loons at a relatively small lake where I live. After a couple of weeks, some idiot thought it was a good idea to fly circles with a small helicopter over the lake where all the migrating birds were resting. After diving to avoid the disturbance for a couple of minutes, they took off and never came back. Got some decent shots though, and now I really want to go to Scandinavia and get some shots of them in breeding plumage, such beautiful and fascinating birds. 😁

@@Halmstadfoto Vi har hökuggla stationär väster om Sala i 2 månader nu. Ytterligare 2 rapporter på Artportalen i närheten av Sala. Jag har några bra bilder på ugglan men det är lika roligt att besöka platsen men " hopp om en ännu trevligare bild"
