Great looking plants. I am the same way, want to repot asap, but after doing this hobby for a few years, learning to stop myself. Orchid roots are so much more sensitive than other plants, you can really set back orchids by reporting and then do not see flowers for years. Orchid growing is for patient people 😅.

Well it was supposed to be 100 seedling but I called and ask to be sent larger blooming size. He picked a variety.

Your hubby will have to build a huge pergola with shadecloth. Luckily, your backyard is huge, so you have loads of space to build😂😂😂. We can never have enough orchids. Happy growing🎉❤

Tough question bc it was originally the 100 seedling for $395 but then I called and asked for bigger plants. He customized it and it’s not really in the list.

Now I have 3 of those. Sooo cute. This whole box was $395.
I got my mom a Beallara Big Shot 'Hilo Sparkle' last year at Palmer's. It is a pretty one, and I love the smell! I don't know how regularly it blooms. it was blooming when I bought it but hasn't in the year since. Mounting it probably held it back, it lost most of the roots.

That's probably a good idea you have a very light and airy space compared to mine. It did that Cattleya thing where just flexing the roots or taking the media away cause the roots to self-destruct I hope it won't happen to yours but even if it does it's still probably better than leaving it in old media especially if it has high moisture retention like a sphag. core. @@Melissa-loves-orchids

'NN' or '4N' etc. has to do with the visibility of the plant for breeding. If you aren't going to need them, it doesn't really matter.
