Love how 40% of the ppl that comment on here think that machine is junk now... well built cage means chassis in still all in tact and easy to fix. Most of damage is all bolt on stuff and luckly for us we arnt couch surfers and have some fabrication background. 70% of what broke/bent can be straightened or built. Not to mention we have most of the running gear setting in the shop ready to bolt on if that's what decides to be done. Are sxs are not trailer queens they get rode and used.
That's why you want a SNELL car racing helmet, so when your head gets wacked against the roll cage over and over, you are still ok (not in the spec for motorcycle helmets). Kinda lucky, but fun video! Also, arm restraints.

This is exactly why I always nod my head watching the dozens of guys out at the track trying to climb the sketchiest hills they can find. In the video he was only about 30ft or so up on that wall, yet I see guys climbing steeper crap than this that peaks at 300-600ft. One tumble and your vehicle is done for and possible you as well, and for what? Luckily it looks like he only broke the arms/axles, so probably a sub $4k repair. I wouldn't say he pissed away 20 grand, most of it is intact.
Proper helmets are unnecessary when there's nothing in your head worth protecting.
