And here I am on my final duty. I am finishing Applied Portfolio Management today. It is hard to find a reliable source of information when looking for realistic and scientific financial information. As a young student and trader who is having a tough life living in Turkey, it is even harder. Because books are expensive, courses are expensive everything expensive. 50% inflation and currency crisis doesn't help either, I can't afford a goddamn laptop. I use a 10 year old laptop to code and backtest my strategies while sitting in a stupid toy shop that is not making enough money and at the same time I study economics bachelor remotely. I know the worth of the information that helps people level up. I've learned a lot from you, and sure as long as you upload I will continue to learn more! This one comes straight from my heart, thank you Mr. Boyle. You are an amazing person and inspiring teacher.

    Hi Patrick,
I have now finished the whole series on Portfolio Management and I would like to thank you for all the knowledge that you shared. Gathering all this information from an academic perspective has been great and hopefully I would be able to incorporate some of this knowledge in my trading.

Here from CoffeeZilla and watched the whole series. Thank you for putting this together. Really high quality compared to much of what is available on YT or elsewhere.

Thank you so much for this incedible series! It will defintely become my go-to answer for how someone should learn about the market and the players that navigate it.

Oh neat, I was fiddling and noticed that Google has 2 classes with different voting rights. Made a little trading view indicator comparing them and saw that most of the time, people pay about 1.5% more for the voting shares but it's ranged from -1% to 4%. Didn't know that was a whole branch of trading though! Makes me feel smart.

Loved the series, have study corporate finance, investments, and behavioral finance as part of my undergrad and it was a great way to refresh what I have learned for the upcoming semester. Also definitely learned some stuff loved the segment on hedge fund strategies. Would love to see some content geared to individual retail investors. Some Ideas: Important techniques we should use in managing our own portfolios, how you go about forming a thesis on a stock and researching it, important things skills and knowledge to known in order to work in portfolio management/ a hedge fund

Hi Patrick, I have one technical question related to statistical arbitrage and monte carlo analysis. Monte Carlo analysis applied to a single-price time series isn't very difficult and is probably just a few lines of code to implement . However.... how does one implement a monte carlo simulation with respect to a cointegrating pair(or triplet) of price series and (hopefully) maintain that cointegrating relationship throughout the simulation?
