Reminds me of the old school way of restoring the body/glass to an automotive. These days all parts are simply replaceable. Years ago, my dad owned an old school Body Shop/Auto glass installation. I watched him do amazing things to restore an old, mistreated/forgotten vehicle to its former glory.

Loved this. I just picked up a pair of of Ferragamo bow shoes identical to those and a pair of peep toes, from the shoe repair. He had fixed the heels but the patent leather has dulled some. I’m really excited to restore them. I’ve had both pairs for more than 20 years. Now they won’t look like it.
