Thanks for the videos, Lee. Please don't give us your usual introduction again. You are a nice guy who makes good videos and doesn't need to belittle yourself. I like your videos. I am a subscriber.
Thank you, I think you may have missed the video I created explaining why I do that intro. It's a combination of wanting to give more exposure for folks who have vision issues and also poking a bit of fun at myself. You can see that video here - th-cam.com/video/dq-xsw1IOJ0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=D15pe_fzfu55vH5t
I just installed these on my 2019 model 3 and what a difference as far as the heat in the car. As far as install you need to install on a slant on the magnetic clips and they go in fairly easy. Great product and better than the non magnetic clips which end up eventually tearing the liner. I live in Arizona and this shield works very well. You didn’t read the instructions first. lol. I drive with these in the car….that the whole point of having them. 😳😳😂
I too have a similar product but with clips that hold the sunshade firmly. I only have the front half installed so that passengers in the rear still get a nice view. Driving with the windows open doesn't affect the sunshade in the front.
I have pretty much the same product but with plastic clips that permanently hold the shades in place. Initially they creaked a bit, but after a couple of days of driving that went away. I like it how it keeps the cabin a bit darker as well as slightly cooler, but you can still feel some heat coming through. Still loving your videos Lee!! They're both informative and amusing. :-) Keep them coming!!
The good thing about these is that the connector thingys are in there really firm and so from day dot, they haven't moved and never made a noise. I've had them in for about a week now and really happy with it.
Just to point out to everyone, the clips were installed incorrectly which caused a lot of his issues. I'm guessing the didn't read the manual properly since its specifies that you have to only put 1x clip on the center front and 1x in the center back. The remaining 4x clips are used by placing 2x in the center front (left and right) and 2x in the center back (left and right). This will provide better hold and should be enough to use the sunshade while driving without any issues. This product is by far better than tons of other ones online.
Surely you should be able to drive with the shades on, rather than only use them when parked? I do like your very real presentations. I checked their website, and you're right. Full placement instructions there! Ah well, trial and error also works.
I do sometimes read the manual, but where is the fun in that? 🤣 They do have other shades that are locked in place better that you can drive with. I think the purpose of these is to keep the car a bit cooler when parked out on a hot sunny day.
I was a bit worried you were going to try and drive with these shades, that was my immediate concern, one bump and you'd be flailing about trying to see out the window. But, as a sun shade it looks pretty good. I'm trying to find the website, I tried your website but there's no link there either.
@@notacarguy_au Thanks for the link. It would also have been nice if they included a windshield shade as well. I have seen others that do for just a bit more.

Yes , absolutely I should have read in the instructions, but in my defence, I am a dude. 🤣

It's interesting, I like the products, but I haven't really had much need for any of the sunshades that often.

Just love how your wife is laughing at your handiwork 😂😂😂
She didn’t marry me for my looks. 🤣
@@notacarguy_au classic. It’s refreshing to always see such a positive happy person

Yes, the manual was not read.

Yes, would be very "impractical" driving with theses. 🤣 Here is a link to their page - otrifowd.com/en-au/products/magshade-for-tesla-model-3-y

I need for my model 3 2019, don’t know if it fit
I think the processor in your car may not get it.
Was there a manual and did you read it prior to installation?
Ok question answered later in your video. I was getting frustrated watching you install it. 😅
There was a manual and I didn't read it. 🤣 Sorry for the frustration.
All I care any Rattling is the most important
I just did a 30 minute drive and didn't hear any rattling, so that's good. The connector thingys are pretty solidy in there. 👍🏼
Ummmmm it’s meant to be up while driving, not just when ur parked
🤷🏻
Remind me not to buy those shades whenever I buy a Tesla.
ok
great and informative video, lousy product.
Thank for the compliment on the video. What makes you say it's a lousy product? Have you had a bad experience with it?
