Simple improvement would be to use a short length of hose to slip over the valve stem and onto a short rod chucked in the drill. Allows for the valve to be guided by the guide, without any possibility of the drill putting any side load on the valve guides. It's iimpossible to hold a hand drill perfectly aligned.
It’s actually gun wash, used for cleaning paint guns and parts, it dissolves paint and grease/oil really well and makes parks much easier to clean after

I hated lapping the valve and seats lol.
It’s a pain but better than having low compression hahaa
We did it the old way, we used our hands and a sucker cup on the value. No utube back in my day lol.
