If you had the dome light on the switch would then function as you want .
but for photos the dome would be on 😅

Hey man did you ever figure out how to get the power sources from both a switch and the dome lights when unlocking and locking the car? I tried using a relay but I’m not the greatest when it comes to electrical work so I couldn’t get it done.

What’s up Kaz. If you want to use your switches to turn the lights on and off you should use a couple of diodes since you have dual input.

You should have two live wires so you could run the dims/dome
And one wire will be for the switch
So in order to keep the lights on. Do you just turn on the dome lights? I’m still kind of confused by that.

To isolate the power feeds to the LEDs you can try using diodes which will allow the current to only flow in one direction when power is being supplied by either source (dome or switch).
Would you happen to know more about this? I’m currently stuck right now. I’m also trying to do what he was. Idk a damn thing about diodes tho 🥲

I figured out why it isn’t working on the switch panel. It’s because you tapped into the dome lights first. Maybe if you tap into the switch panel first and then relay it to the dome lights it might just be a better solution? Idk I’m not that great with electrical things either, it just seemed right
Turn your dome light on and flip the switch!
