I could give AS about starliner; I'm just happy that after the Challenger and Columbia tragedies, that happened in my lifetime, NASA in it's infinite wisdom decided to keep Sunita and Barry safe in space to return on a later date in a spacecraft known for returning astronauts safely to Earth. Even though starliner is back on Earth NASA deserves applause for this decision. I know an old phrase and it goes like this: "Better to be safe than sorry.'
I am guessing experience of senior astronauts like Sunita Williams and her partner Barry shall serve monumental for next astronauts to be sent in space either for first missions or next major missions. She is such an experienced person, what she would share as her learning would go in history and lessons learnt programs. I wanted to see her adopt a baby from her ancestral Gujarat, India. It was a mention on her wiki page. How lucky that child would be🤎💛. Probably they already adopted and am not aware of it yet. The page wasn't updated with latest info. I read it recently. When Kalpana Chawla died along with other Americans it was a huge loss and shock for the world😒. We read about these disasters as being significant failures in project management. Not sure how the latest liner one will be used or be put in course books. 🤔😞
💛🤎 Nice to see that liner put in place perfectly. Astronauts probably are a part of some experiments of extended stay. Was reading wiki page of Sunita Williams and learnt that she has been to such extended missions earlier too. Would be interesting to see lessons learnt or awareness for upcoming trips or astronauts. Phenomenal opportunity to learn I guess. Williams wanted to adopt a child from her ancestral native Gujarat, India- it was a mention on the wiki page🙂💛🤎
Sunita Williams and her team are such an experienced group of people..am sure the learnings shares by them being in a slightly tricky situation for them too would serve as a huge learning for next set of astronauts making to space. I think this is a silver lining for many that people with such experience as Sunita Williams and her partner got stuck in this situation. What they learn from it would be monumental for next set of people travelling to space. Manna from God 💛🤎
Despite the hiccups with some of the maneuvering thrusters and the minor helium leaks, Starliner performed flawlessly and the Boeing team did a great job!
Yep, same dog and pony show as ever, shoved out the back of a c130 for the oohs aahs. The only thing that has ever been to space is your imagination. 🧭☯️❄️
If only they spent less money on assassins....
Boeing had to have some kind of win. Only the white collars could rub their nipples in regards to such a minor success.
Wt? Bring back the piece of junk,,,and leave humans in space.Nice,,,,,,,job not even done. Money spent for popular business status. WT?
It's reusable

They finally figured out Just-go-for-it doesn't work with space when humans are involved.

Money laundering at its finest
Outright STEALING.
WHY were the 2 people left behind? Are they abandoned because they are not alive? This makes no sense. 🧐🤔🤨
How could they leave 2 people in space! I bet there dead
This is a complete failure. Don’t get it twisted. Shame on BOeing
That not the same one they showed detaching lol

@@sas23_lists The only attraction to space travel for me, would be to escape a dying world; no rent or bills.
hey the tin can junk is back lol
This is a victory? Not a chance. This is a walk of shame at best.

This is a failure. Where is the crew ?
@@SmushyMcMushy Left in the ISS by hand-wringing bureaucrats at NASA, not by the engineers at Boeing that did a pretty amazing job with Starliner.
