”Cut thread” removes material from a cylindrical shape with an OD matching the thread size, or a hole that is smaller than the thread size. So if you want to make M6 threads, you cut them to a 6 mm shaft or 5 mm hole. ”Extrude thread” adds material to the surface. So you can add an M6 thread on a 5 mm shaft or make an M6 inside thread to a 6 mm hole.
What's the difference between cut thread and extrude thread?
As far as i know
May be cut thread is threading of inner hole where as extrude cut is used for outer cylindrical surface

Shouldn't the internal thread be done using metric tap and cut instead of die and extrude?
Yes, But soldiworks give this option.
How can I create a M28x1.5 thread ?
Just follow instruction of this tutorials
This is not a M20 thread, your rod was 20 mm from the beginning and then the thread made the rod outer diameter grow
how about thread G-seri ?
Thank you soooooooooooooo much
