When I tighten the pin head on the mag release piece,why does it effect my trigger?The trigger wont work,unless the pin is not as tight.Am I overtightening it,and its putting pressure on the sides of the trigger?
@@robdedgar OK.I think I overtightened it,because I backed the pin out just a smidge,and it works just fine now.I actually cleaned it yesterday,when I ran into this issue,but before when I cleaned it,I don't think it did this,but I probably didn't tighten it like I did yesterday.

I had my 870DM for about 6 months before I figured out I needed to remove that tiny Allen bolt to remove the forend.
The Remington 870 DM has too many parts. The whole reason I have an 870 is because it doesn't have a lot of parts to remove.

It is a feature of the shotgun. It’s a Remington 870 DM, which they don’t make anymore.
At 9:40min, that little piece is the one to frees the next round in to the chamber?
Will the 870 DM take a standard 870 14” barrel? Or does it need a special one? I have an 870 with the 18” and want to get the 14”
I would assume so. However, I am not a gunsmith.
Same keep using same barrel. Mossberg detachable doesn't have same barrels than 500's

Vism flip dot. They have newer models now. You can find them on Amazon and eBay. They have been sold out late last year though

I have a vism flip dot. I usually do not use optics on shotguns.
What sight and stock are you running?
I got a vism flip dot as my pop up sight and the magpul tactical stock.
