    An overview and bottle chopping featuring the Cold Steel Voyager XL, Kris Blade Folding Knife (s71.co/3cSn3vZ). A worthy addition to the iconic Voyager series of folding knives.

    After watching your early reviews of this series I bought several of these. I've daily carried a large voyager for about 8 years. The only wear on the knife is the tip is a bit worn from my careless sharpening, and the Cold Steel insignia on the blade is a faded from cleaning it. I used an wiring connector with a loop on one end to assist with deployment when drawing from my pocket, and filed down the handle beneath the clip to help save my clothing. The ergonomics of the handle is what makes these models. When using them to do repeated heavy cuts your hand doesn't get fatigued, and the knife grip is so secure it is very difficult to drop it. There is absolutely no play in the blade. The price I paid was $35ish, and I can't believe how good a value this knife is. One comment about this video, you have an amazing backhand, every considered tennis 🎾??

      @@WeAllJuggleKnives thanks, a follower of your channel for a long time now, I love coldsteel, I have maybe 2 dozen knives and machete katana, tanto, wakizashi...I collect machetes, tactical knives, hatchets, dozens of tameshigiri katanas and wakizashis, like you I have hundreds of blades, big fan Sir... my only gripe about the wave pattern of Kris (i was born in the Philippines and had one, and a dozen balisongs) is that it's intended for fighting and not for clean cutting due to the wave design... keep it up Sir, you look good, I gave up working out and training decades ago 😁... ❤️❤️❤️

    Absolutely wicked cuts! Killer follow through. I’ve been wanting to try a kriss style knife from Cold Style. The Ti lite and the XL voyager both look awesome! The voyager seems like a more well rounded tool

    Mechanically speaking, back hand seems to be more effective. And, I might presume that in a real situation, unexpected and more efficient in close quarters. The move is finished by a nice pivot that sets up the next move with momentum.

    • @WeAllJuggleKnives
      @WeAllJuggleKnives  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the backhand is definitely the strongest, just like with hammer fists.

    Hey buddy, great review.. I got rid of my channel but I'm still around here. I'm really happy you are doing so well still. Just curious I know you practice with arnis/escrima sticks, but doyou ever do drills using one stick and in the dominant hand, the Kris knife pair up at the same time?
