Just like I did with the mark 2….I ordered a couple hundred dollars worth of mods from Mike lane mods….I’m sure I’ll send the small hub caps out to full metal customs to get a bigger accurate size. So after about $400 in extras it will look better. Also be changing out the wiring around the car to the correct colors. It’s fun to work on, fun project but this is how hot toys does it. Short cuts and a lot of “good enough”. You can’t do a “ultimate edition” because of licensing and how it works. Each car is a different license, different movie. Unfortunately doesn’t work that easy in license land
@ eaglemoss? I’ve heard of them but I’m talking about the hot toys delorean….Mike lane mods makes upgrades for a lot of that car….after buying those it’s $200-300….then I’m feeling better about the car. Still haven’t found a solution to the wrong color headlights. A customizer will make me new hub caps but that will be expensive…to be happy it’s $400 plus increase in cost after mods and upgrades
@@DeLoreanTECH I have seen the RC body. I don't have any road RC cars but thought about it for that body. I did see a video of an RC DMC12 drifting that had doors that went up/down. I can't recall if it was BTTF themed or not.
Missed opportunity for sure. I bet Mike Lane Mods will have a custom one like they did for the Eaglemoss. Of course it will be $$$$. He needs to do a whole set including correct wheels!
I’m confused why people expect the mark 2 or 3 to be any different than the first one it’s literally the same car in all 3 movies or suppose to be the same car so why would they change a bunch of it doesn’t make any sense
I concur. I feel in love with the DeLorean before the movie. People have gifted me various things DeLorean related, but they are BTTF themed. While I do love the movies, I do not like the detraction from the actual vehicle.
That would be amazing. Some folks have actually altered their 1/6 scale Hot Toys so it is back to a stock DeLorean. Lots of filler, paint, and custom 3D printed pieces like the rear and side glass and sunshade. But alas nothing formal planned for a big scale stock DeLorean model!
Glad I didn't buy this one. People spending hundreds more dollars for upgrades and mods on a piece that cost $1,000 to begin with makes no sense at all. You shouldn't have to do that. I learned my lesson after buying the version 2. Giving Hot Toys more money for this just encourages them to not improve.
Check out my comparison video where I explained why they did not choose to go with an ultimate edition. They want the cars to stand on their own. Hot toys was heading in this direction as well, but unfortunately missed the mark.
Wow. I bet you’re a laugh at parties. Judging a release without it in hand. It looks pretty cool and releasing all three versions gives people the choice to display that dedicated model. It’s a shame you’re feeding negativity.
Remarkable how they dont listen to the community, did all the same mistakes, zero improvement. I was thinking about purchasing it, but they half assed it so bad, im not going reward them for it.
The unboxing video was pretty good to confirm a lot of fears we had. I pointed out early in the video that it was brief and didn’t include set up. But it’s enough to warrant cancellation IMHO
@@DeLoreanTECH Yeah, nah. I'm not going to defend Hot Toys vehicles as they tend to be terrible and terribly overpriced, but if you don't have the model yourself, in hand, watching someone else unboxing it and making judgements on finish and paint detail without being able to actually see it, well, that's just lame.
Wait for the blitzway version that is coming👍
Wait what
@DeLoreanTECH yeah Blitzway also make the ghostbusters there are many revieuwers out there and it was on the projectlist from them
The ecto-1 is a great model from Blitzway
@@grantshuster1985 yeah I heard about the Blitzway 1/6 scale DeLorean coming next year. It was supposed to be revealed late 2024 but never happened!

What a piece of junk...I'm getting the OTHER one sixth scale Delorean mark three time machine...Oh wait...
Hahaha! You almost had me there
For that price, it should be perfect.
Agreed and they had so many opportunities
Are there any decent scale versions that are just stock DMC12's?
I wish! Only R/C car bodies so far. No formal models.

I agree about the hood box should’ve been lit. I think the rest of it looks great. Can’t wait to get mine.

GREAT video! You definitely have the best DeLorean model car reviews ever. Question: what do you think of the Hot Wheels Ultimate Edition? Vs Tomy
I like it
I’m confused why people expect the mark 2 or 3 to be any different than the first one it’s literally the same car in all 3 movies or suppose to be the same car so why would they change a bunch of it doesn’t make any sense
Because we spend nearly $1000
they should have improved it like he pointed out...too much wrong and they let the inaccuarcies carry on in subsequent versions...cheapout
Great video but I will pass on this one. I wish there would be just a regular DMC12 without any of the BTTF stuff but I guess that wont happen

Well stated!
Lots of modding to do
Par for the course!
too much
Why isn't it like the hot wheels super elite?
You can convert it into all versions

@DeLoreanTECH
The reason is always money 😁
Danoby2 made a 3D Printed set of Train Rims that fixed to the Mark 1.
Yes Hot Toys should have took notes!

I wish I could go back in time and choose a different route sometimes. But that prototype car was misleading! It looked good!
nickpick city
it costs almost $1000 id get ur comment if it cost like $100
What he said. At nearly $1000 with tax and shipping heck yes I am going to nitpick - just like I did with the Mark 2.
Think I’ll add this channel to my do not recommends.
Bought the first two so have to buy the third 🤷
Ain’t that the truth
I didn't order it! Waiting for the Blitzway 1:6 releases! I predict the HT DeLoreans will hit rock bottom when that one comes out!
I agree. I went over this in my live stream today. Maybe blitzway will offer a Mark zero
Hot Toys vehicles are cheap quality
I like the quality OK but it’s just that there just was not enough difference is captured in this release to warrant a full separate vehicle release.
Yes and expensive too for having parts that easily break
Mega fail. Even the 1/15 scale Diamond Select Part III DeLorean has a better weathering paint scheme.
THE A PILLAR !!! WRONG SHAPE (V-Shaped)
You don't have this in hand and are judging it on someone else's unboxing? Get outta here.
