Being 100% honest, electrical is super complicated along with HVAC but when i see that there are grown licensed people that do this i don't feel as bad.
Was a maintenance electrician at two large plants on night shift. Night foreman at both places could not even test if a fuse was good but too often told me how to do my job. After they hung themselves by me following way out way they wanted cinduit ran chief electrician reamed thier asses and told them to leave me alone. Boss got pussed off because I got a few mintues of overtime splicing together ground wires in several offices that were being inspected early that morning. Township inspector told day boss .he would have failed ruff in if grounds were not spliced in.
For the sake of argument, no derating is needed for nipples 24" or less. Holes seem well within 24". Only thing I would add is the lack of nail plates. I'm an industrial guy, so I've seen way worse than this packed into a short nipple, and it was still technically legal.
All those wires packed into the corner without nail plates and no corner nailer. The sheetrockers are going to have to put a corner nailer in. That's like trying to pet a rattle snake, not going to end well. Unless tx is different, then wi they get paid by square footage to hang not to fix electrician and framers work and not worry about it so if wire gets stretched, pinched or nicked not their problem.
I think the siding guys moved the boxes to not be covered by the seam strips, the time it took to do it wrong tells me that they were moved after the electricians left. Seeing as there are no nail plates anywhere, im guessing theyre not done. The island pony wall is just a reference for cabinets and usually not present at rough in, wire is routed thru cabinets once installed to meet code. The metal box that you took issue with is where they branch the dishwasher/disposal and the island plugs from. Please tell me you resecured the iron door after complaining about how hard it was to open from the wrong side when the overhead doors werent even installed yet… Installing the drivers on exterior lights is a recipe for disaster, they get full of paint if installed at the rough and the homeowner might change their mind on lights by the time the final comes, tails and whips make absolute sense and I dont understand why inspectors take such issue with them. This electrician definitely screwed a few things up but you are way too green to be passing judgement on things you dont yet understand or see the full picture of, you owned up to some mistakes in editing but missed others. I also suspect this build is outside of an inspection area and so yea, people get away with things to save time and money, country homes are cheaper for a reason.
Hahahaha you saying WHAT THE F IS THAT killed me. Cuz you took the words out of my mouth.
🤣😂

Drywall screws are 100% acceptable
There is no 240v recep on that temp panel, where is the gfci protection supposed to go?
it should be provided and a 2 pole gfci breaker should be installed
Thanks for the videos man I love to see this kind of stuff
Appreciate it! 👍
Inspectors feel all kinds of things.

Your AHJ requires gfci protection for the whole temp service? Ours just requires the circuits be protected, not the entire thing?
@@kylewhite1088 just the 240 and 120 circuits
.
hi there, does the code says not more than 3 romex in a hole?
1inch you can have 9 current carrying conductors
Derate up 4 romax , still with in 20 amps

Why no more than 2 romex in a stud?
@williamshober1993 I was wondering the samething... Building codes in PA has no count... So what he is saying he rather weaken many studs over one???
Lol how big do you think a face plate is lol
You need a arc cover for that single gang box , no more than 1/4" setback from non combustible wall.

So is it for codes or feelings
haha this 1 made me feel some type of way haha
Read the code book
240v gfci protection for what? Theres only the main and two 120v breakers
