I was out there the day all those stripers showed up. I can see my brothers boat in the background. Glad you guys got some as well. Nice to see you teaching the kid to fish. Hopefully they come back! Been pretty slow for stripers last couple weekends.
@@robertmayes7629 yeah it’s super fun when they show up in a big school like that. My son gets excited, but who doesn’t hahaha. It’s been pretty slow lately. Was on a school the next weekend but only caught a couple all day. The winter grind is setting in.
Pag, i have my next vid edited but wanted to ask if you wanted to be in it given there is no salmon season. I'm sure ill get hater because i had to bring the fish on the yak to unhook it. Took less than 60 seconds and I tried to go as fast as I could. The rules for safe release according to Fish and Game is to try not to take it out of the water, but given i was on a yak with light tackle there was no way i was gonna keep that fish still to unhook it in the water. Should I even publish this? Not sure it worth the hassle tbh. I did call and email Fish and Game to get clarification on the regs. Maybe i'll just wait and see what they say.
@@DWPFishing yeah I don’t mind if I’m in it. Lol. I’m sure people will talk crap but that’s what trolls do. You did what you could to safely release the fish. Not like you were targeting salmon.
