I feel good about that. My dad had an Eee PC, and it was an awful piece of shit, the fucker had to be formatted multiple times because it thought the volume button was always pressed, so there was a messy pop-up with the volume that appeared all of the time, and the volume had to be on max all the time. It was also laggy as hell, actually unusable. I had to use it for school for a week and it was awful, do not know how my dad resisted throwing the fucker out of the window.

The Bean was, in fact, my first MP3 player (and my mom's too). For listening to some Bon Jovi and AC/DC on the school bus in middle school or walking around the neighborhood for exercise (her use), it was perfect. The software wasn't that bad, all things considered. The problem is that the rail pin (for lack of a better term) was held in with glue and that glue wore down. I was a kid and didn't have super glue, so I couldn't fix mine.
Also that CHKDSK thing could be turned off via a command line string.

As a computer security person, lol at all those people who (shockingly still) look back on the XP days with nostalgia.

I never had actual info they could steam nor i cared if my pc was a zombie for ddos attacks or whatever so security was irrelevant for me, thats why i can see it with nostalgia

XP had the benefit of being supported during a long time in which hardware advanced substantially but the OS wasn't destroyed by trying to look hip and modern. In some way it just worked.

I had an eee PC a little newer than that one and I loved it. When netbooks became popular (and most importantly, affordable) I BEGGED my parents for one all year and thought I'd never ever get one. Then on Christmas they pulled the nesting dolls box trick on me with like eight boxes until I got to the tiny laptop box. Great memory.

3:13 - I actually owned a pair of those SRS-T33 and they weren't too bad back in the day considering their portability

If Wade ever opens a DankPods merch website, a T-shirt, Mug, Sticker or Baseball Cap with the words "Remember to use your head when you use your headphones" will have to be a mandatory addition

Man, those headphones are a walk down memory lane. I bought those style of headphones separately for my iPod and they were my headphones for university for quite some time. Always despised the white colour scheme, they ran into the exact same problem Apple did with their stock headphones in that they turned greasy and dirty within _days_ of using them.
I think I still have the Atrac3Plus software CD too! (came with my Discman). Ended up redeeming the code (it was for just one song at the time) for "Save Tonight" by Eagle-Eye Cherry.

Someone please send him a massive catering Heinz baked bean tin purely for his "bean" storage.
