You must must go if you truly love bikes !!! Its the only place on the planet to my knowledge where you eat sleep and smell bikes 24/7 and i mean 24/7 In all the time I have been going you do not get any trouble just nice folk who love the same as you and love it they do.. Really enjoyed seeing the race from the enthusiast's eyes. This is the best race. The places to view greatly vary & the landscape is gorgeous. Add the motorcycles going by in a blur. It's perfect!
I really enjoyed that, thank you. I've attended the last 9 TT's for race week but had planned to miss this year anyway but will be back next year. I've watched motor racing all my life and nothing prepares you for the TT, the TV coverage is great but it's a world away from the real experience. Everyone should put it on their bucket list, bike fan or not.
THANK YOU ! I thoroughly enjoyed this film. This is the type of film that I can only aspire to making. It was a privilege to share your Dad's pilgrimage ! The only TT I have ever attended was in 1979- this just serves to reinforce my desire to return.
What a great little video, thank u so much for posting it. I live in the States but I hope one day I can make it over to the Isle Of Man for the big race week. 🙏🇺🇲🗽🇬🇧🙏
Fantastic video which captures the essence of what it's all about 👌.I went in 1998, one week after leaving hospital after losing my left leg below the knee in a bike accident. Nothing was going to keep me away. Stayed with friends at Union Mills, so like your dad, not far to go to get to the course. Nothing can match this unique event or the vibes of being on the Island for TT fortnight surrounded by bikes and bikers . If you're reading this, are an ardent bike fan and are thinking about it, don't hesitate. It's the experience of a lifetime. Let's hope this year's event still goes ahead and is not cancelled due to the Corona virus pandemic currently sweeping the world ! Thanks for posting this video. Brings back many happy memories. ATVB from sunny and locked down Malaysia 😎😷
What a great comment! Thanks Razif. Union Mills is a great spot! It didn't make it into the film, but my Dad had a great little spot up behind the hedge next to the church that he was very proud of. With no TT 2020 we can only look ahead to 2021 with much excitement. Scott
This Flim deserves the love and respect! From the edit, to the video quality everything is just beautiful! And the highlight is seeing that man so genuinely happy he cant contain himself with his inner child pouring out! Kudos! 🙌🏻❤💯
Wow the sound of the bikes is a great counterpoint to Pachelbel. I usually don't like music with this stuff, but this works. A great mini documentary, thanks so much.
What a superb documentary. I thoroughly enjoyed this from start to finish. I've been lucky enough to have competed at the TT in 2009 and it's great to see the reaction it gets from people, regardless of how many times they've been. As soon as you watch it from a different spot, it just amazes you all over again and this film shows that. Thank you.
