This race is iconic unlike anything else on the planet. It needs more followers. The riders are one of a kind, exclusive. Riders that cannot be compared to others.
True I am slipping out of being a Great *"NASCAR"* Fan and becoming a BiG Motorcycle Fan. I've been bringing on every "Isles of Man" video and "Valentino Rossi" video I can find 🤙
these racers are so humble (loudmouths never have the balls) I was in a pub in north yorkshire dales, out for a ride, there was tt photo on the wall, turns out it was the guy pulling my pint. I asked him `how did you get on in the race?` `Oh, I won it` he said, and went off to pull another pint.
@@krachenford9594 He was in a bar in England, it had a photo of a TT rider on the wall. The rider turned out to be the barman. When he asked how the race went, the barman said he won. The point of the story is that most TT riders are very humble, there is comparatively small prize money, fame and fanfare in the TT and most participants wouldn’t have it any other way.
We're quick to judge, but you can see the passion in their eyes and feel it in their voice. This gives you a better understanding of what people are willing to do when they're passionate about bikes/racing/speed, But they're still nuts!
I was there in 1993 and 94 and can say , this is the first film to do this incredible race real justice... Whatever else you do in your life , once just once go and be there for that amazing week ... There is nothing in this world that comes close ...
I never got into road racing over my 30+ yrs of riding street bikes. I would have loved to do this. The best explanation I come up with for this kind of "addiction" for me is that I trail ride sleds now. Much faster than I should. It comes down to it being you, your piece of equipment, and the coarse. Nothing else matters at that point. You forget about everyday BS like your job, money, problems, everything besides pure focus of getting through from point A to B as fast as possible without dieing. You are one with every second.
Where your from? I am from Germany and was so keen on going this year, obviously its not happening with audience this year. Is it hard to get an accomondation?
Imma do this race no matter anything in my life. Ever since I was a child I wanted to do moto racing and feel the engine alive with me on it, I'm 18 and I'll get there some day.
I got to go here. Once. During one of the practice weeks and they allowed civilians to ride their motorcycles on the course with no speed limit on I believe a 2015 Yamaha R6. I've been riding and racing for years at that point. But even just going 100 mph on this course was one of the most terrifying things I have ever done. Though truly one of the most liberating. As some might say. You don't know how much your living until you nearly lost it.
Wrecked my r1 doing 150 mph and went flying into the woods. First thing i did as soon as i learned to walk again was to get a new r1 and go ride it. Even tho i was close to dying i still ride faster and harder then ever before
@@felleice if you did that on the road and still do... then i wish you did hit a tree at 150mph with your head cos you don't deserve to be a biker with that disgusting attitude. Racing is for tracks

I would love to do the TT myself. But honestly I can't afford it. Only going there and watching it would make me feel small. Even finishing at last wouldn't matter. Only watching in the mirror and knowing....you did it.
I am lucky enough to have been to the TT twice (2018 and 2022) from the US. Nothing compares to the overall experience. The speed, the intensity, the people, the awesome Manx hospitality. I plan to return in 2026, and honestly, would happily move to the island. What a delightfully ridiculous place it is.

What a race. Best in the world. What racers. Best in the world. To quote a living legend (John McGuiness): "It only feels fast in a few places." Thats how fast HE is, and that's how good HE is, not how slow and easy the course is. To everyone else it is the fastest place on earth, thats the difference in perception from us and them. To say that in a humble and genuine way just shows how talented the man is. His record is outstanding. These boys are the bravest of the brave when it comes to sports that involve danger. Listening to these guys recounting what it feels like to race is like listening to soldiers that have been in real combat. The nerves and fear dominate till you actually start racing and then your skills, and training kick in and the fear is removed because you are concentrated on getting the job done rather than worying about it. True proffessionals operating right on the very edge between winning or losing or if you like between death or glory.

My only critisim of a great video is..... next time when you are showing an onboard of a bike do NOT play music in the background. The people watching this are bike lovers. We want to hear the sweet sound of that bike as it howls its tits off through those corners.

I share your feelings. Awesome movie but the music takes away attention and sometimes is irritating. Not my kind of music also. But the movie is superb!
Here’s an idea...every motorcyclist should chip in a few bucks to buy the island and keep the circuit open year round for riding...LOL. But seriously, what a fantasy experience - gotta love it
Excellent video CK, so few comments for so many views (185 to 271,615 as I write), people don't have to comment in English every nation should comment in their own language, the few that did one in Japanese " 做這些騎士的親人要非常殘忍 " ( I thought) is apparently traditional Chinese and says "it's cruel to be a relative of these knights"... wise words (-: cheers
