We should appreciate the morale behind this Gatur ceremony and learn from the tribals......the young generation is giving so much tribute & attention to their elders for their well-being & good health in their old age when they need them the most......so their culture & tradition teaches their younger generation to not alienate but take care & respect their elders during their old age.....even tribals are so civilized and humane in India.....we should be proud.

It's just part of the culture and geography over there. The people over there have adapted to cooking simple foods which are either boiled, smoked or sometimes fried.
