I've been rooting for Kali uchis to be next. I love her though. I clocked her ptosis/eye lift when she walked the red carpet at the variety awards. Her work was still VERY tight. Like so fresh it didn't have a concept of gravity yet. BUT! her work healed so AMAZING. I think her motherhood era look is a new era for her!!
Looking back at the variety red carpet look, omg yeah she was FRESH off the table omg. I think that little refresh was worth it. I think that she probably got peer pressured into getting a lot of filler when she transitioned into hollywood. I guess it can be cheap if not free when you're an artist. Her look if definitely documented enough to do a formal analysis. she has music videos, photos, she's very intune with her image. Love that for Kali!
I notice with these celebrities they always start out really beautiful and somehow plastic surgeons find a way to elevate that. I know not everyone is a fan a plastic surgery but i feel like this is an art form
When it is done the right way and you don't end up looking like a total different person I'm all for it. What helps is not to expect miracles and a very good plastic surgeon.

Great video, as always. One thing I've started to do because of your videos, is find the siblings of these celebrities. Very rarely have any of them gone under the knife, so you can see the real ages of real people next to their famous siblings. In Salma's case, her younger brother looks age appropriate and much older than her. ;)

It makes her a little bit different than the other celebs where many looks kind of the same. But her eyes and features make her stand out as well and her bodyshape. I remeber 20 years ago many did not think she was thin enogh. 20 years ago women should have a more adrogyn bodyshape. Today is more accept off different bodies something I am glad for. But Is still weard to think about. I think is more focus om masculine or feminine traits today. A lot of models in the past had this type of faceshape and for me beautiful faces. And tbh they show the before and after I think of the editing. But the problem is that I feel like she doesn't know what she looks like. I believe that this is the reality of having plastic surgery. Her look has evolved so much. I think weightloss was a big part of it, but I think there was other things happening behind the scenes with her look.

True about lightning on photos! I can make myself 10 to even 15 and more years younger on photos on good light and posing (with no filters!). But when someone takes my photo in bad light and I don't pose, every single age on my face is super visible. I may even look older.
this is probably my favorite video i've seen from you. so spot on about her face lift. and yes, she used to brag in interviews about not getting botox. and she had a lot of natural wrinkles. then suddenly, they all disappeared and her face changed. also, her boobs kept getting bigger and bigger. still beautiful but really hanging on to her youth now. she doesn't look like herself anymore to me.
They come at talkshows claiming this when they're 6 months off botox so they can 'prove' they never had botox...And basically run to their injectors after the show

Thank you Lorry for emphasizing the tremendous work it takes to maintain youthful looks. Celebrities aren’t lucky or have good genes and we (non celebs) aren’t unlucky or abnormal when the inevitability of aging arrives. We have not failed. These celebrities have invested so many resources. The accumulated cost always reminds me that it would take years of my salary as a public school teacher to afford even some of these procedures. I’ll be content with what I can do and remember a positive attitude and kind words can greatly enhance anyone’s beauty.

But I was predominantly curious about a rhinoplasty (apart from the obvious one) or some other surgery. I don’t usually love celebs after major procedures because I think they look less unusual but hers kind of made her look like a hot villain which I love. So I was wondering how much of it is real and whether she’s done a lot more over the last few years
she has the typical class 3 profile, still her bite must be normal now, otherwise, if its reverse, you need to have it surgically corrected. Also, she typically has a very short philtrum since she has a short maxilla, but all in all ,her proportions work well togther, and the surgeon who did her nose, as you said, is a master
That's my case... my side profile is similar to hers, with a prominent chin (which makes me really self-conscious 😞), though I've consulted different dentists and they've told me I'm not a candidate for orthognatic surgery, because my bite is normal (it's not an underbite).

Her bite is normal, you can see it in many pictures, her upper teeth close in front of the lower teeth. Maybe she just has a prominent/fleshy chin that makes her mid-face look somewhat flat in comparison.

To be fair under bad lighting even the most youthful beautiful women can look rough. I am in my 20’s and bad lighting photos has made me second guess my appearance.
The best of her statements is when she says is all me.. When someone gets a bigger "pair" surgeons transfer fat in a second procedure to create a natural volume (erasing the sharp line created by the breast implant making it look softer like youthful breast

Wow, thank you for the wake up call lol. I have people in my life that use celebs (and Salma is one of the celebs) to compare and contrast as examples to our own aging etc. I hadn’t ever seen those early pics but now that I have it’s clear that she’s had work. I’m going to try and not be so hard on myself now and not listen to criticism from people that use celebs with plastic surgery as an example against my default natural/can’t afford plastic surgery help type aging 😂. It’s funny because I know people lie about their procedures but sometimes they deny it enough and you end up believing it. Seeing the actual surgical changes visually helps put that in perspective. I have nothing against surgical procedures, I just wish there was more transparency and honesty about it so that some of us didn’t get sucked into the unrealistic expectations. Thank you Lorry for such informative videos!

I dont know about the early lower blepharoplasty. Especially considering she's a Mexican American actress who was breaking through into American film - in the Latino community, large "American" eyes were/are very sought after. I would be surprised for a Latina actress at that time to have reduced a naturally "gringo" trait. I think the change in white eye show is due to the where she's directing her eyes. It's hard to find more early pictures to compare better, so who knows!

Sometimes it is more difficult for me to see the changes but here you can really see it in the photos. That's why I am actually shocked that this "myth" of her being all natural has not been questioned earlier.
Someone who has had that much work done should not be telling people to show their natural self. Let us all get about $300,000 for some celebrity level medical help for our looks! (Dr Karam charges $250,000 for a vertical restore / deep plane face lift plus a couple basic fixes such as blepharoplasty. He’s in Beverly Hills) That’s just for the face, with surgery. Let alone the many many options in office to work on face and body.

I remember watching an interview of hers years and years ago and when asked what she does for her beautiful skin, she said she doesnt always wash her face in the morning, her natural oils kept her skin healthy. The comment was so shocking years ago and to someone like me who had acne and dolly parton syndrome of putting make up on to put the garbage out, it stuck with me. I must admit, ive had a few brave days with that morning glow and ive gone about town and actually got positive reactions. Love Salma and her confidence
It's crazy how different she looks. I get her surgery looks natural but wow, she looks different. She's really pretty but i don't know.... it's not natural. She's aged well but....i just can't get over what she looked like originally vs after.
She is married to one of the richest men in the world and lives in France most of the time. If you are going to do plastic surgery, you should do it in France, I think, because they seem to prioritize retaining the character of a face a lot, not erasing it. It is not like the US, where having a distinct personality is bad, or like Italy, where all the elderly ladies end up looking the same.... France is all about character.

there was recently a scandal where she blamed GQ for photoshopping her photoshoot. And tbh they show the before and after I think of the editing. But the problem is that I feel like she doesn't know what she looks like. I believe that this is the reality of having plastic surgery. Her look has evolved so much. I think weightloss was a big part of it, but I think there was other things happening behind the scenes with her look.

True about lightning on photos! I can make myself 10 to even 15 and more years younger on photos on good light and posing (with no filters!). But when someone takes my photo in bad light and I don't pose, every single age on my face is super visible. I may even look older.
this is probably my favorite video i've seen from you. so spot on about her face lift. and yes, she used to brag in interviews about not getting botox. and she had a lot of natural wrinkles. then suddenly, they all disappeared and her face changed. also, her boobs kept getting bigger and bigger. still beautiful but really hanging on to her youth now. she doesn't look like herself anymore to me.

Celebrities aren’t lucky or have good genes and we (non celebs) aren’t unlucky or abnormal when the inevitability of aging arrives. We have not failed. These celebrities have invested so many resources. The accumulated cost always reminds me that it would take years of my salary as a public school teacher to afford even some of these procedures. I’ll be content with what I can do and remember a positive attitude and kind words can greatly enhance anyone’s beauty.

But I was predominantly curious about a rhinoplasty (apart from the obvious one) or some other surgery. I don’t usually love celebs after major procedures because I think they look less unusual but hers kind of made her look like a hot villain which I love. So I was wondering how much of it is real and whether she’s done a lot more over the last few years
she has the typical class 3 profile, still her bite must be normal now, otherwise, if its reverse, you need to have it surgically corrected. Also, she typically has a very short philtrum since she has a short maxilla, but all in all ,her proportions work well togther, and the surgeon who did her nose, as you said, is a master
That's my case... my side profile is similar to hers, with a prominent chin (which makes me really self-conscious 😞), though I've consulted different dentists and they've told me I'm not a candidate for orthognatic surgery, because my bite is normal (it's not an underbite).

Her bite is normal, you can see it in many pictures, her upper teeth close in front of the lower teeth. Maybe she just has a prominent/fleshy chin that makes her mid-face look somewhat flat in comparison.

Wow, thank you for the wake up call lol. I have people in my life that use celebs (and Salma is one of the celebs) to compare and contrast as examples to our own aging etc. I hadn’t ever seen those early pics but now that I have it’s clear that she’s had work. I’m going to try and not be so hard on myself now and not listen to criticism from people that use celebs with plastic surgery as an example against my default natural/can’t afford plastic surgery help type aging 😂. It’s funny because I know people lie about their procedures but sometimes they deny it enough and you end up believing it. Seeing the actual surgical changes visually helps put that in perspective. I have nothing against surgical procedures, I just wish there was more transparency and honesty about it so that some of us didn’t get sucked into the unrealistic expectations. I dont know about the early lower blepharoplasty. Especially considering she's a Mexican American actress who was breaking through into American film - in the Latino community, large "American" eyes were/are very sought after. I would be surprised for a Latina actress at that time to have reduced a naturally "gringo" trait.
I think the change in white eye show is due to the where she's directing her eyes. It's hard to find more early pictures to compare better, so who knows!

(Dr Karam charges $250,000 for a vertical restore / deep plane face lift plus a couple basic fixes such as blepharoplasty. He’s in Beverly Hills)

It's crazy how different she looks. I get her surgery looks natural but wow, she looks different. She's really pretty but i don't know.... it's not natural. She's aged well but....i just can't get over what she looked like originally vs after.
She is married to one of the richest men in the world and lives in France most of the time. If you are going to do plastic surgery, you should do it in France, I think, because they seem to prioritize retaining the character of a face a lot, not erasing it. It is not like the US, where having a distinct personality is bad, or like Italy, where all the elderly ladies end up looking the same.... France is all about character.
