I usually use straw because it’s warmer. My bunny doesn’t eat it though. But I do put shavings on top of the straw so it doesn’t poke into his belly 😁

Wow teddy has grown so much! My rabbits live indoors in a dog playpen but they’re room is cold so I have blankets and heat bottle things everywhere (like the ones you’ve got) and they are always flopped next to them warming their little bellies ✨❤️

On Amazon they have these silicone mats that usually go under dogs water bowls. We buy them and put them under the shavings in hutches as it protects the wood. They are thin, easy and very cost efficient.

Corn isnt safe for rabbits, along with anything with seeds no hate
@Campbell Griner seeds are harder for rabbits to digest so it is not recommend to give them to them.

I’ve been using the same heat pad for a few months since october and it’s suddenly started to not heat up as well which is rubbish 😕 just for you to keep an eye out for yours too!
also i highly recommend the wooden cat litter pellets from P@H! you can get 30 litres for £7 and a bag lasts me at least 8 months!

Bunnies should have a partner wonder if you’ve still got her if you’d contact a Rescue who could bond her with another , they would know who might personally wise would be best suited plus would bind for you x

On the hair brush/ hay rack in the big hole you could put her water bottle ?
Don't use a water bottle only a bowl as it's bad for them for quite a few reasons
How come she's on her own without another bun for company
I got a tip for the litter tray it’s a lot easier to put the hay in the litter box as when they eat hay the pee and poo at the same time so it’ll all goes in the litter box and instead of putting hay in certain places maybe get toys with hay in? My rabbit is an indoor litter trained bunny and he only goes in his box with the hay and wood chip cat litter because it’s super safe for bunnies and prevents smells hope this helps xx

You need to put hay into her litter box 🐰 no hate other than that your doing a great job at the start I thought you just left her in the hutch so I got worried then I was like 👍 when u said you let her roam . In lockdown you really got me through it so Tysm

Is the heat pad okay to use if the rabbit gets a bit too warm will the rabbit move I just bought one for my rabbit and worried if he could get too hot it will only be used in winter of course but still worried

rabbits diets consist of 80% hay so its really not that much:)))
That's not much actually for a rabbit they should go through that in a day or 2 as it's 80℅of there diet

Well that's a nice hutch for a rabbit. I got one for no reason was a gift for my misses sister but it i have ended up taking care of it . Because it bite them he like me more perhaps because I'm the one lokking after him . But soon I will be moving him outside he live at the moment in the living area hi has a large cage like thouse for big dogs around 120Long 70cm Wide and 80cm height so plenty space for the bunny 🐰 . But I'm looking for some cheaper way to make a hutch especially for this uk weather. Some advice ? Will be great . Your bunny look like mine a bit more fur then your you may mistaken for a fluffy ball
A hutch is not enough, maybe look around for second hand garden sheds to convert

I love the idea but she probably won’t use the hay rack as she is already surrounded by hay
And a lot of hay could be wasted

It's great that she has lots of space to run around in but I would be a bit more careful as things like birds and cats could potentially attack her

I tried to give my rabbit water in a bowl but she kept trying to tip it over and didn’t drink any
buy a bowl in the rack, the bunny drinks when he/she is thirsty. don't force water he/she just gets angry. you can also keep a bowl and bottle of water in the cage (the ball freezes easily in the bottle in winter!)

Kale is even worse for them as if given everyday or more then a few times a week can actually give them bladder sludge cause it's to high in calcium
@@shelbymakuski3531 my rabbit lived 11 years and had kale every day she’s fine plus’s I’ve got to rabbits now and they have kale I’m sure it’s ok
@@matildarosee6257 still not the best for them it often causes problems if feed all the time, it's not healthy so maybe switch to something like spring mix and herbs as it's much better for them

Would you recommend rabbits as an indoor pet I have got a cat but he lives outside and he only comes in while we are feeding him 🥰
They need a lot of space so if you can give them access to an entire room or free space to roam then yes they can make a great indoor pet once litter trained x

Domestic rabbits shouldn't live cages or hutches and out side.
She has almost got the whole garden to run around in and even if she goes in the hutch it’s not for a long period of time. Rabbits can thrive outside just like house rabbits. Before commenting, think.
Why don't you litter train her and give her her own room in your house 🤔?
Not everyone has room for that they actually enjoy it normally more outside as long as you provide everything they need. She said she was litter trained but she is doing a lot wrong in this video especially giving those nibble sticks as they can't digest the seeds and corn in it so it can actually get them sick and give them gi stasis
If that’s iceberg lettuce in the ball then you shouldn’t be giving that to her as it lacks nutrients and can be harmful
Hutches aren’t at all good for rabbits. Hutches don’t have enough room for them to run around in, and aren’t tall enough if she binkies a lot.
She’s not kept in the hutch, I did say on the video she has free roam of the entire garden
@@lilpetchannel oh! Well it’s great that she has that area. I just don’t think rabbits should be kept outside, but that’s my personal opinion. I do think she has a good living situation though. Also, i love watching your channel! Carry on :)
