What happens when you store your fragrances in the bathroom?
@@willowwookie9614 the constant changes in heat and humidity destroys the molecules in your fragrances and makes the top notes disappear sooner and reduces the lifespan of your fragrances.
Fragrances should always be stored in a dark cool and dry place. Never the bathroom.

You're not supposed to leave your fragrances in the bathroom though. The steam destroys them.

I think not steam. But rather heat and light. Bathrooms are usually warmer, at least where I live.
@@Chris_mueller Light I can understand. But how hot do you think it has to get and for how long for it to raise the temp of a glass bottle or a ceramic bottle??? I dont think I Any body has that much hot water to raise the temp inside even a tenth of a degree.

I first noticed it a few months ago, about the same time I noticed you started reading the names of French perfumes with a "Frenchier" pronunciation. I even left a comment asking, "Might your new man be a French speaker, perchance?" Glad to see you so radiantly happy!

Also Demi, since you videos are technically quite simple, when the lighting is like this- I use an app called Video LUT.... you can artificially boost your brightness and/or exposure. Since you’re without your light in Dubai this would bring it up closer to “broadcast quality”.
Why all the dislikes? If you’re a fan of Demi, let her be happy with her boyfriend, they look very in love. Don’t be so childish disliking the videos..

The big bottle of 4711 just got passed over. I was wanting to hear both of your takes on that one as well.
Something I noticed over the past years is that you easily get olfactory fatigue with creed fragrances. I used to think the same about the performance of their perfumes, but then I noticed after switching back to them that the first day I sprayed them back on, they easily lasted for 8h (Silver mountain water, Millisime Imperial, GIT, EROLFA, ...). But after 2 days of applying them, I again could not smell them after the top notes vanished (while other people can). So don't be fooled by your own nose. :-)
He's got a solid collection though.
David C So I have heard😅 I do have a 2018 batch of GIT and EROLFA and they perform really well. 🤔 So i wonder what the old batches must have been like then. But bois du Portugal scent's profile also changed a bit, no?

Oud for Greatness was love at first SIFF for me... that fragrance is a masterpiece.
Parfums de Marly Herod is a masterpiece and for me the number one from PdM and one of my all time favorite fragrances.

I love Atelier cologne too. They are my summer holidays scents. Especially Clémentine California and Pacific Lime.
I agree. Actually wearing Herod tonight and it pulls compliments like nothing else. Very well blended masterpiece. Dries down with a smooth vanilla after the tabacco.
Can never go wrong with Amouge Jubilation 25, very strong and masculine, it get's the job done!
Erolfa is a beast on my skin. One of Creeds best IMO.
Great video Demi. Nice collection and neatly organized. Your videos are largely responsible for my evolving fragrance journey. All started with Guerlain Heritage EDP.....then went on a Guerlain binge (Fave designer). You recently highlighted Amouage in your vids and I'm so glad you did (Fave niche). Because I trust your nose wholeheartedly, I went from owning those recs to nearly their entire mens lineup and couldn't be more impressed. Currently for me it's: Guerlain (1.A) > Amouage (1.a) > Roja Dove (1.b). Keep giving us that fire Demi. Glad your happy. Be safe out there.

Silver Mountain Water is by far my favorite cologne of all my collection. It smells like heaven if heaven had a scent.

I was getting worried until you finally brought out the GOAT... Oud for Greatness. Your recommendation & swooning of this fragrance enticed me to get a sample and it is officially my all time favorite. I also enjoy a few more on his list... Kalan, Herod & Jubilation. PDM is obviously one of his favorite brands and mine as well. I would have had Carlisle in there though & I prefer Layton Exclusif over Layton. Thanks for sharing!!

I feel he would really like Xerjoff- Mefisto. It has the Silver Mountain Water DNA with light florals. I wore it yesterday and was loving it. Today was Xerjoff- Nio. Super sharp citrus that I love.

Great video! I recently purchased the Armani Prive Rouge Malachite after listening to you rave about it. I have already purchased Oud Bouquet, Florabotanica and Delina on your recommendation. I love all of these scents. Rouge Malachite is very similar to Aerin Tuberose Le Jour, which I adore. I would love to know what you think about Aerin fragrances. She has many great ones.

Quick question, is it actually safe to store cologne in a bathroom where the temperature changes from warm to possibly hot and then cooler? On top of that isn't there quite a bit of light in a bathroom as well?

The change in temperature isn’t enough to affect the fragrance. As in the temperature range isn’t that big.
