I had a Morab mare when I had to give her up at 23 she still loved endurance rides. She was fun for a experienced rider but gentle enough to babysit with my toddler son.v
I have heard that Justin Morgan's horse was a Canadian horse. One of those that were carefully bred by the King of France, and sent over to Canada for Quebeckers to use, in the 1600s. Same build, same abilities - and it would explain why Justin Morgan's horse was so prepotent. The French horses were an actual breed. Makes sense - otherwise, why would some random horse turn out to be that good, and to reproduce himself repeatedly? Now we have the Canadian Horse, but not streamlined like American Morgans. Canada has been very negligent in preserving their special breeds of horses.

I'm guessing they don't know the deceased date. So gave the creation date of this video.
