I got pregnant at 18, had my abortion scheduled at Planned Parenthood, but had Christian Pro-Lifers share the truth about abortion with me and I couldn't go though with it. I've had to work hard! 3 jobs and going to school and I have never regretted my decision! My guess is these women didn't have a child at a young age and they can't speak first hand about what it's like to choose life for that fetus. I can bet if this woman had had her child she would understand. No amount of education or travel can compare to having that precious child. Once a baby is born the mother will see that this baby WAS the "clump of cells" that was in her uterus. She would surely be glad she didn't abort at that point. I was 17 when I became pregnant. My Son is now 31 years old. Best "choice" I ever made was to keep him and raise him. WD 40 I’d disagree. You can certainly defy the odds and do well, but the best course of action is adoption so the child ends up in a stable, 2 parent household. Also, getting pregnant at 17 isn’t a good thing to follow, hence why women should hold back more from men, trying to save sex for marriage so you have a better chance of him being “the one.” Again, doesn’t diminish the goodness of the OP’s actions of caring for her child rather than choosing abortion, but it can also be true that her situation began with a mistake (fortunately ending with a thankfully strong mom and good kid)..
I got pregnant at 18 after deciding i wasn't ready to be a parent , I looked up an abortion clinic. I didn't realize it was a Christian women's facility that encourages women to reconsider before going through with it. I was still on the fence because I knew in my heart I felt it was wrong to have an abortion. Long story short they asked if I was open to watching stories from women who have gone through with it and how it impacted thier life after. I decided to have my son. He is now 15 years old and every time I think of him not being alive I get a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes , hearing him call me mom , look into his eyes, hear his laugh, watch him sleep peacefully and just be who he is. I thank God for those women. I love my son so much and don't want to imagine my world without him 💙

An embryo and a 5 yr old are not the same thing in this context. If we were to use his logic universally then killing any human cells in the body would be 'murder'. Well geez..I was a poor kid. However, I didn't get bullied for being poor I got bullied because I was tiny. My mom got pregnant with my brother at 16 and at 17 with me. Lived in the slums of South Central. And here I am now, a child of God saved by grace. Now looking back, all those times I wondered how I survived my childhood and teen years, now I know it was God who was preserving me and had His hand on me the whole time. I was always His even before I knew it. BTW, I was also a teenage mother and my daughter, now 17 years old, is thriving because I wasn't murdered and neither was she. Disgusting. I lost my baby girl more than four years ago due to a premature delivery. She was viable but just didn’t have the strength to fight after 12 days. 23 weeks 4 days, early enough to legally crush her skull and rip her apart. She cried straight out of the womb. My mom would have slept in her car, starved, worked hard her whole life just so her kids could have a roof over their heads. We were poor growing up and I saw my mom struggle but she never gave up on her kids even when people told her to have an abortion with me. I thank my mom for never giving up on us. I also love old people and volunteer with a company that brings food to the homes of poor and disabled elderly people. I've never been in a psychical fight because the idea of hitting another human with my fists disgusts me. I'm not a vegan but I make vegan food when possible because I love animals and factory farms are disgusting and cruel. All of my dogs are adopted and I would never buy from a breeder while shelter pets are put down. And if I were to have a child I would without a doubt adopt because there's no need to bring more children into the world when there're already ones out there without homes. I had my daughter at 16. My Mother and Father helped me raise her. I’m so thankful I had help! I was married to my children’s Father before because th of my babies were born. I can bet if this woman had had her child she would understand. No amount of education or travel can compare to having that precious child. You can certainly defy the odds and do well, but the best course of action is adoption so the child ends up in a stable, 2 parent household.
Also, getting pregnant at 17 isn’t a good thing to follow, hence why women should hold back more from men, trying to save sex for marriage so you have a better chance of him being “the one.”
Again, doesn’t diminish the goodness of the OP’s actions of caring for her child rather than choosing abortion, but it can also be true that her situation began with a mistake (fortunately ending with a thankfully strong mom and good kid)..

I got pregnant at 18 after deciding i wasn't ready to be a parent , I looked up an abortion clinic. I didn't realize it was a Christian women's facility that encourages women to reconsider before going through with it. I was still on the fence because I knew in my heart I felt it was wrong to have an abortion. Long story short they asked if I was open to watching stories from women who have gone through with it and how it impacted thier life after. I decided to have my son. He is now 15 years old and every time I think of him not being alive I get a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes , hearing him call me mom , look into his eyes, hear his laugh, watch him sleep peacefully and just be who he is. I thank God for those women. I love my son so much and don't want to imagine my world without him 💙

Well geez..I was a poor kid. However, I didn't get bullied for being poor I got bullied because I was tiny. My mom got pregnant with my brother at 16 and at 17 with me. Lived in the slums of South Central. And here I am now, a child of God saved by grace. Now looking back, all those times I wondered how I survived my childhood and teen years, now I know it was God who was preserving me and had His hand on me the whole time. I was always His even before I knew it. BTW, I was also a teenage mother and my daughter, now 17 years old, is thriving because I wasn't murdered and neither was she.

Disgusting. I lost my baby girl more than four years ago due to a premature delivery. She was viable but just didn’t have the strength to fight after 12 days. 23 weeks 4 days, early enough to legally crush her skull and rip her apart. She cried straight out of the womb. My mom would have slept in her car, starved, worked hard her whole life just so her kids could have a roof over their heads. We were poor growing up and I saw my mom struggle but she never gave up on her kids even when people told her to have an abortion with me. I thank my mom for never giving up on us. I also love old people and volunteer with a company that brings food to the homes of poor and disabled elderly people. I've never been in a psychical fight because the idea of hitting another human with my fists disgusts me. All of my dogs are adopted and I would never buy from a breeder while shelter pets are put down. Emily Therese You can be poor with no money but rich with imagination and focus. My dad was homeless at 14 my aunt 16 when they got sent from Cuba. They found a way my Dad and Mom had 3 children and we all are blessed now with money, love, and peace. All thru faith in God at our foundation. With God given talents and faith God paved us a path on a road to paradise. Without God nothing is worthwhile.
