To get around the cleaning problem she could create a club which has cleaning activities and invite club members to the house for a gathering.
Or invite a "neat" adult over.

Umm or there's the children can clean mod, I still can't believe the kids can't clean without a mod, I got mods that lets my sim kids do lots of things including painting on an easel and gaining the painting skill.

Just a tip, when doing dumpster diving, take trash from your household and put it in their inventory. So when the dumpster is empty, refill it with the trash from the Sims inventory. Then go diving again.

Literally you could put in a free plate from a quick meal or a glass of water and end up with a 5000$ toilet 😂

Whenever my Sims are sad about a death I just make them stand in the mirror and talk about their feelings a bunch and after a good two full queues of that their sad buff is gone. Very helpful especially during the 100 baby challenge when the kids get sad over family members that they never even met before
When I get the notification that an elderly sim is close to dying I get their affairs in order by spending all their inspiration points on moodlet solver drinks to store in the family keepsake box so the family doesn't have to grieve too long.

I have a child Sim I’ve been playing with who has a bit of a distracted Mum (she’s single and has 4 kids so the eldest isn’t a priority) and he’s best friends with his dog. It’s adorable.
It's a good thing she didn't have a little brother or sister, it would've been really hard to look after a toddler and keep up with school and dumpster diving, it also would've needed the children can help with baby and toddlers mod
Hmm yeah but getting a puppy would eventually need the Child can walk dogs mod, yeah there's a mod for that too.
I did something like this once. I dropped a SIM child on a mountain top with nothing but a tent and a cooler of food. She grew up to be one of my most successful Sims 😁

@@Siren_DarkOcean_Official Oh, I guess I'm not positive if it is a proper mountain top. The area is Cordelia's secret cottage at Henford-on-Bagley. It does look like a mountain or hilltop and is one of the highest places I know of that one can live residentially in the Sims 4 Cottage Living. I cleared the land and house so that the child was there with basically nothing.
For the Monster under the bed problem just buy the koala protector lamp and place it inside of the room with the bed you want to stop from spawning the monster.

I just disable the monster under the bed with MCC
Same with Emotional Deaths bc hold crap it gets annoying
Like every time my child sim slept they'd wake up not even a second later due to the monster and it would wake all the other kids up too and they'd never sleep after befriending it
Plus the anxiety I got from the emotion death risk I had to when I saw the option I get so much less stress now
You can avoid the monsters under the bet by sleeping in a full size bed.

ok, so i rarely get emotionally attached to any sim other than my self sim, but i am deep in my feelings for this little one. how lonely that would be. ugh... this one got me right in feelers. get her a defender light, no more monster under the bed
Children can sell the paintings they make on the activity table. The price they sell for isn’t much but they increase with the creativity skill
That’s what saved me during the “aliens stole my parents” scenario

@@AMOC101I don’t think that really has anything to do with the initial comment since they thought the name was pronounced like “Ellen-or”. They weren’t comparing the pronunciations “El-ee-nuh” and “El-lay-nuh”…
Can you raise a sim from Newborn to YA, with the goal of giving them the most trauma? You would do this by getting the worst age up traits for infant and toddler, bad in school, distant family dynamic and all the bad character values, maybe even fears too.

Make sure they're an unwanted pregnancy too.
Zulf has a mod that allows kids to do more things like clean counters, repair objects, use the washtub and other things. You can even bathe toddlers. I had to delete my mods that allowed kids to care for toddlers though once infants came out. It ruined pathing for adult sims trying to pick up infants, lol, even though it was an interaction for kids and toddlers.
I think she forgot that children can summon Bonehilda.
Because children can talk to ghosts or have a medium skill.

The grandmeal can be purchased at one of the universities. The university students are also very willing to teach the child to ride a bike and will help with projects. The universities are the best place to eat dinner and do homework for a child alone.
You could sell the gnome too, he can give a lot of money! You can also leave the lights automatic, lower the bills on time. Other than that the solar roof also helps.

This brings me to such fond memories of one lone girl living in a house I ever so fondly referred to as "The Poolhouse of Death" -- nothing quite like getting chased all night by ghosts while eating takeout pizza until your grades slip so far you get "taken away". Those were the days. (I wish this cute story didn't parallel my own real life so much, hahahah, shhh.)

I once tried this: no mods, I decided to live in Sulani so there were lots of free food from the neghbours (if you only eat quick meals the kid will feel ill) and moved out the adult (they were not related) but I never got around the problem of paying the bills, so from time to time I had to add a random adult to the household for the sole purpose of paying the bills. It's annoying since she could actually made money from stuff she collected, so it's not as if the houshold didn't have the founds.
Now I want to try this! Also have her sell those gnomes they can be worth a lot. I hope we get a part two!

Another way to have child sims live on their own is if you play on pc, click on shift and on the adult sims you want to get rid of and their should be a pie menu option named "debug" and from there it's two options "go to rabbit hole" which still allows adult sims to be apart of the household but they'll be gone (you can cancel the action to bring them back) or "remove from family" which completely removes the sim from the household and doesn't send the child to be adopted. Hope this helps💕💕
I also recommend downloading a mod by zulf that allows children to cook so it'll be easier to get meals

by the way, without mods you can turn on cheats then shift click your adult sim and select remove from family then your child sims can live alone :) its pretty hard to get by but its still really fun

What are the mods that allows a child sim to do these things and be the only one in a household? Would be interesting to try it. Like a child run away sort of story thing could be fun to play out.
I was playing a child alone and I don't have mods. I think I created her with an elderly grandmother and then moved the grandmother out in manage households. Gran went to a nursing home. I had the kid scavenge on the beach and sell stuff on that table that lets you sell items.
So I did this on accident in sims 3 years ago. My kid went to school and was fine. In high school, she was popular, voted prom queen, kissed a girl and got a girlfriend. It was honestly insane. My adult sim died 2 game days in from a fire at her party (where 2 other sims died. Was pure chaos)
i adore the way you decorate your houses, i love the colours mixing and they look so good. it's nice to see houses that look like real houses instead of the same monochromatic thing again and again, that coming from me who just decorates monochromatic because i dont know how colours work 😬😬

I have begun immediately releasing the dead sims’ spirit to the netherworld to prevent them coming onto the lot and breaking everything. If they die of old age then usually they don’t mess with stuff.

Another way you could do this without mods is to create a vampire sim as the adult and just have them hibernate in a coffin the whole time you’re playing. I found that was the easiest way for me when I did this challenge because it meant I could just wake them up when the bills needed to be paid and then keep them hibernating in the basement when I didn’t want them to interfere.

The Harvestfest is actually a great way to get rich. When you appraise the gnomes they give seed packets worth 100$, if you buy additional gnomes before the event starts they can also be appraised 😅 the cheapest gnome is 18$ and yes I know too much about it.... 😅I once earned 30.000 doing that....
is that just one harvestfest or did you keep em in the inventory and let it stack up in housebuild inventory? bcs i just had 3 gnomes and keep them a few days and had 4 stacks of 99+ in the household inventory easy afk money kinda
@@wojtowicz92 I bought nearly 150 gnomes just before the harvesfest and placed them all around, appraised all of them (it took almost a day..) it's kinda cheating but fun
@@Magpie_Chet nice but still just appraised all 3 or 4 gnomes that comes and keep them in the inventory for a while and you will have 4-5 stack 99+ after some week easy to do on rags sure its kinda cheating but the game made it so :p

I feel like a ton of these commenters are missing the whole point: of COURSE you can download a mod that does xyz. That's not the challenge. That changes the rules entirely. That's like me saying I can win a hot dog-eating contest against anyone as long as I get a ten-year headstart.

i tried this once, i dont use mods, but if you start a house with a child and an adult and use shift click on the adult to remove it from family you can play alone with the child, but i couldnt turn off the bills for some reason. so i got super annoyed at constantly going without power/water and having things reposessed.
The bills are the hardest issue for me. If I am careful, I have no bills at all. I use the smallest microhouse possible and make sure the lot is set to tiny house. I set the lot traits to geothermal and natural springs and gnomes. And I make it offgrid. If I keep my inventory and cash low and do all the rest of that, I have no bills.

@@lawrencecrocker4870 I hate interacting with the repo man and being stuck on the lot until he leaves. I do my best to avoid that. At least it is a backup and the game is not over if I do get a bill.

okay well, i usually don't watch english-language sims videos, because i'm really too lazy to concentrate on mentally translating videos, and i like to watch sims when i want to relax. but god, when i heard your voice, i couldn't help but listen to the video in full! you are so pleasant to listen to, and for me personally (i am a russian speaker) you sound like the perfect speaker from those exams and olympiads in english.
in sims 1 you could be a household with just a child 😆 I had one that lived alone and for some reason only got along with the neighborhood jerk which was kinda creepy looking back (no mods needed for the time).

Press Ctrl and c on your keyboard, type in testingcheats true or on, shift click on the adult, click remove from family, and to turn it off, just type in again testingcheats off

I was doing the 100 baby challenge when my matriarch died, but the child begged the grim reaper and she was brought back to life thank god.

All around Oasis Spring's park are gems and toads. When things are tight I'm sure we would never judge any who might have, at some point made a habit of waking the wee ones up to do a circuit around the park in the middle of the night on a school night. We never would judge them! We never would!! We, like Elena (yes my fellow Americans I too thought her name was Eleanor) know how hard life can be in depths of poverty and grief. We will struggle on, if only to show solidarity with Elena (really Eleanor is a great name as well, I think)
One of my favorite random finds is (when testing cheats is on) shift clicking dirty counters/bars/etc and choosing "make clean". 😊

I had a point where 5 of my sim children died and the mom died. I cried for like 40 minutes straight until my sister came up and asked what happened...😅😅😅😅😅❤❤❤❤ i still miss them...
