Good shit figuring the rockering out on your own man. You can rocker the wheels outward to give a longer wheel base if you find yourself trying to do a bike path commute or something of that nature.
@4:08 Yeah, you got it right. The frames came with the wheels all set down instead of up. I'm curious how much of a rocker it gives you. Given the wedge shaped frame spacer, I'd have to ask if there are three settings the way the 6-sided frame spacers my old Midtowns had gave me 6 very-fine settings for adjusting the rocker. Tiago's channel has some really good Slalom tutorials, he did one where his buddy recommended setting up the cones in a ring, and practicing just getting one foot weaving while doing lemons (or swizzles, whatever you want to call them) with both feet. Slalom is one of those things that will definitely improve all other aspects of your skating - balance, edge control, ankle stability... When I was in Japan, I went to a skate rink in Atami that had some slalom cones setup in the middle. I was on my Trimax setup - the rocker settings on that are ridiculous and best ignored - so it was a bit of a struggle trying to carve with the full 255mm wheelbase. 110mm is hard to do slalom with. I miss that rink though. It's an outdoor space, no covering... and it ended up raining for a short time while we were there. But after it cleared up, the staff got out with pushbroom-sized squeegies to get the surface safe for skating quickly. Well worth the visit for any quad or inline skater traveling through the Kansai region. There's also this short circuit speed track around the rink... that THAT was fun on the 110s!
The big wheels make it feel like I'm so close to the ground when I go back to smaller wheels, the big wheels help my stability and are totally worth switching it up to help my skate game. 🤘
Watching you set up your rockered frames reminded me of setting up my Kaltiks. I thought I understood what I was doing and then I was looking at it and the middle wheels weren't flush at all and were in fact 10mm out... Of course I'd rockered the wheels the wrong way! 🤦♂️ Watching you doing this feels relateable. I've currently been skateboarding (very basic flat ground tricks) so I can take it easy, cuz I figure I won't get half as hurt as I can blading. Ooh yeah and I'm recovering from a broken elbow with new internal titanium parts!
Nice slalom session! The NN Dragon frames are the first rockered frame I have been on and man they are fun! I haven't tried slalom with them yet but wizard moves are so fun! You should try some wizard moves on your rockered flux next time.
I've got this skate now! Rockering them was one of the first things I tried out. 😆 And with these, yes. I think you're correct with the front and back being bumped up. Rockering these are kind of strange. I don't think I'm used to how long these are... 3 Things I need to learn and get used to: 1. big wheels 2. longer frame 3. the rockering New wheels and bearings coming in for my other skates tomorrow! Going to set those up as my rockered slalom skates and see if its any better. Definitely still need to give more time on the Powerslide NEXT with KIZER FLUX. But either way, I think I'm with you on the flat preference for now. How's your shoulder?

Can one not rocker the wheels?
Curious about the frame and boot setup for street skating
Love love love the rocker setup
Hi, I've bought a pair of Kizer flux frames, but it came withou any spacer or axles. It's supposed to came with the the spacers isn't?
Just Think a couple of days to rocker my skates. Should give it a try looks fun.

Looks sick man, been wanting to try slalom for a while. Good your get your insight 🤙

How's your shoulder?
How do the skates feel now that you've done some stuff to mitigate the pressure points? Did the rocker still feel pretty stable?
That’s dope man - I’ll looking to pick up some K flux frames
It would be so nice to have a session in the park with you :D your videos keep getting better! Professional
Wena flaco!
