Most of the desserts are loaded with sugar.
Ice kachang, chendol, condensed milk in tea and coffee and etc.
Almost all the foods are deep fried and doused in trans fats.
    Imagine the breakfast, it's shocking.
Any wonder there's a huge increase in all sorts of ailments.
I grew up eating all these fattening foods until I moved to Ireland.
Being in Ireland, all these goodies are not available, so you've to make to do with
    simple foods.
It's a totally different cuisine for me,healthy, less fattening and no sugar at all.
I'm on a very healthy diet and kept all unhealthy grub at bay.

*You can put an Indian anywhere on the planet and they will know how to become successful. I don't know much about Indians in Singapore. But in the US, they are less than 1% of the population, less than Chinese, Filipinos, Africans, Hispanics, etc. and are the richest ethnic group per household income. The success of Indians in the US is just mindboggling in every walk of life, from corporate America, to politics, to entertainment, to academia, to medicine, to small-to-midsize businesses, and everything in between.*

@@DficienC *India-born and raised as well as Indian-American CEOs of the publicly-traded American and the European companies are Google, Microsoft, IBM, Adobe, Deloitte, GAP, Albertsons, WeWork, Ex-PepsiCo, MasterCard, Workday, Chewy, GoDaddy, Ex-Citigroup, Panera Bread, Micron, Berkshire Hathaway Insurance, Verizon Media, Ex-McKinsey, Harman International, Wayfair, Novartis, Ex-US Airways, Nokia, Instacart, Flex, Schlumberger Energy, Brookfield Properties, Best Buy Health, Ex-SanDisk, Hotwire, Genpact, StubHub, Nutanix, Ex-Cognizant, Ex-Vodafone, Vimeo, Ex-Deutsche Bank, ClassPass, MongoDB, Palo Alto Networks, ArcelorMittal, CareMoreHealth, SendGrid, AppDynamics, Escada, Atos Syntel, Reckitt Benckiser, NetApp, Moda Operandi, Arista Networks, Diageo, Sysdig, Ex-Global Foundries, Cohesity, and Conduent. And then there are a ton of other Indians who are at different C-Level positions, such as the Facebook CIO, Ex-Uber CPO, TH-cam CPO, Ex-Tesla CIO & CFO, General Motors CFO, LinkedIn CTO & CPO, FedEx COO, Twitter CTO & CLO, Instagram CPO, PayPal CTO, Unilever COO & CHO, Delta Airlines CIO, Boeing CIO, 3M CFO, PepsiCo CCO, BlackBerry CFO, Zoom CLO & CIO, Nissan COO, Albertsons CIO, Intel CIO & CAO, HP CIO & CMO, Honeywell CTO, Square CFO, DoorDash CFO, Citigroup CLO, P&G CCO & CAO, Nextdoor CTO, Merrill Lynch CIO, Kohl's CTO, Philips CFO & CIO, Adobe CTO & CLO, Expedia CPO, Arm CTO & CFO, Atlassian CTO, AMD CFO, Dropbox CCO & CFO, OpenText CFO, Coupa CMO & CIO, Splunk CPO, Udacity COO, Worldpay CPO, Box CPO, Levi's CFO, Marvell CIO, MuleSoft CMO, HubSpot CTO, Western Digital CIO, 84.51 COO, Gilead CHO, FirstData CFO, ServiceNow CPO & CIO, LendingClub COO, Verifone CLO & COO, Sabre CPO, Citrix CTO, VMware COO & CIO, Snowflake CIO, Nvidia CIO, Micron CBO & COO, Palo Alto Networks CIO, RingCentral CFO & CSO, Gen Re CDO, Nutanix CPO & CTO, Ogilvy CCO, etc. I am not even getting into the Indian founders and co-founders of dozens of startups, small to mid-sized companies, as well as other fields, such as academia, medicine, politics, and entertainment. Indians represent less than 1% of the US population, less than the Chinese(1.5%), the Filipinos (1.2%), and of course the Hispanics (18%) and Africans (13%), and little more than the Koreans (0.6%) and Japanese (0.7%). Indians are the richest ethnic group in the US by gross household income. The success of Indians in the US is just astounding.*

Its because Indians usually go to us already being rich. You don't see poor Indians or refugees going there and only rich people are usually accepted to get a visain us. Whereas refugees from China or even 4th gen of Chinese ethnic groups or just rich Chinese ppl are there who are more likely to be from all different class backgrounds. If the Indians actually upgrade to a greater class from lets say lower middle class to rich then thats an accomplishment but if they stay the same class as I mention from rich to rich once they arrive in US then thats not an accomplishment. See for example the Italians in NYC. They came from an economical disadvantage but still managed to upgrade to a better class once they arrived in NYC. That's what I call accomplishment. Try to have a bigger picture to everything. Not all things are black and white.
