0:30: 🍈 Durian is a highly loved fruit in Singapore, with adults consuming 2-4 kilograms of it every year.
5:00: 🍈 Durians are nutritious and good for our health, containing minerals and vitamins including B9 (folate) which is essential for red blood cell formation, genetic material production, and cell division.
9:07: 🍈 Steve is tasked with eating one durian every day for two weeks to test its effects on his body.
14:39: 🍈 Drinking from the husk of a durian may help cool you down and remove heatiness, but there is no scientific evidence to support this belief.
18:55: ⭐ Durian D variety has the best nutrition with the highest amount of vitamin C and moderate calories.

Freshly harvested durians (within 3 hours from the time it drops naturally) is not heaty. The heatiness is caused by our immune response to the fermentation by-products in the durians.

And I don’t feel heaty or all those nonsense. The problem is that we eat other foods that causes interaction with durian.

So the lesson is..don’t take too much as u grow old..just 3 or 4 seed for one week ok kot..or it will spike and raise yr sugar level. Btw he is young..still his sugar level raised.

Durian is considered a healthy fruit packed with multi-nutrients provided the person who eats it doesn't have any chronic conditions like diabetes and cardio-vescular diseases. Moderate among of durian is good, same goes to other foods. Too much or too little will not do any good to the body. Last but not least, Banana is no longer the representative of Potassium but Durian. Even the doctor said potassium level in urine is high after having durian.

It is true what she says. That is why eating a little Durian is better for you, than eating a lot.
Plus, eating Durian just as it is starting to ripen will give a firmer fruit, than ripe, which will be soft or even mushy (over ripe). So it depends how you like to eat it. Firm, soft, or very ripe. I always choose firm.
And do not give Durian to the elderly, they may end up in hospital with a fever.

    • @davidlamb7524

If you grow a plant from say a D24 from seed, you would not get a D24 that is exactly the same as the parent because it is already cross fertilized by pollen from another plant. The only way to get the same characteristic is to bud graft or marcot the plant. 😂😂😂😂

@@patrickwilliamson29 Yeah! Have you seen those “No Durian” signs that are a black silhouette of a pointy durian with a red circle and a slash? They crack me up.

🤔 durian pulp is like a regurgitated mess in your belly…imagine if there is a sizeable amount 😬…drinking water is all in your head 🤭

    Myth:
Drinking coconut water is cooling for our body, but! If you drink coconut juice and eat its flesh then the cooling effect is "void"?

I guess that the doctor is being diplomatic by saying durian is a healthy food in order not to offend those durian sellers...

Actually have any discomfort even if I eat lots of durian everyday because I exercise and fast every morning, which will lower my blood sugar level
