I just came across your video and you described it perfectly - I love that you spoke about the embarrassment of having a binge disorder. Your story made me feel seen. Keep up the great content!!!
I’m glad you found it helpful
I think you make all the sense in the world. I stopped gaining weight when I stopped restricting. There were many other factors involved, but stopping dieting of any kind was key.
Im glad you found this helpful!! Dieting of any kind just isn’t sustainable for me and will definitely trigger my BED.
I'm a mom of 6 who has had the habit of finishing what is on their plates so that there is no waste for years. THIS SUCKS!!! We are homeschoolers and being home means there is always someone eating/not finishing food. I gain and lost 100lbs each pregnancy. Now at 44 years old the only thing that works for me is water or IF. I must be insulin resistant because weight is very hard for me to lose. Anti depressants help but hindered in intimacy(they don't tell you that part). I lose/gain the same 10lbs repeatedly. I hope we all conquer this!!!
I was very similar to you. My weight always fluctuated. I think you have to make small changes and see what works for you. You also have to accept the things you cant change. Going on a walk, eating more protein, sleeping more, or even journaling are small things to help you along your journey.
Dope content keep growing🔥
Being on contrave and using it as a tool help me a great deal with my weight issues. I didn’t see food as an escape, but more of a necessity. But I use it as a tool with exercise and diet change. I tell myself food is for fuel, not fun, that helped me a lot, but you’re so correct that anxiety and depression has to be dealt with first before losing weight.
I gained weight this past year and although I do know that it bothers me on one hand, I try for the most part not to focus on weight. I have increased my activity overall and I try to make better choices with respect to portions. I think that restrictions end up hurting us in the end as it makes me feel like I’m missing out. I’m not the perfect weight but increasing my activity for a healthier body and mindset is the right track for me. Thank you for sharing your journey.🌟
Of course! Keeping yourself healthy versus skinny is always the answer
