- THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN 1960 Cast THEN AND NOW 2023, All the cast members died tragically!!
The Magnificent Seven is a 1960 American Western film directed by John Sturges. The screenplay by William Roberts is a remake - in an Old West-style - of Akira Kurosawa's 1954 Japanese film Seven Samurai (itself initially released in the United States as The Magnificent Seven). The ensemble cast includes Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, Robert Vaughn, Brad Dexter, James Coburn, and Horst Buchholz as a group of seven gunfighters and Eli Wallach as their main antagonist. The seven title characters are hired to protect a small village in Mexico from a group of marauding bandits led by Wallach.
The film lives on and today it still remains a magnificent film ....
Yes no doubt it .old age and rest is something we all have to go thorough
. This is called our Heavenly gift
They're all gone and they're all magnificent..!!!
Eli Wallach what a great actor?
As Tuco in good bad and ugly!
Such a loving tribute! Thanks very much!!!
Not that loving if you look at the click bait photo : blatantly not Charles Bronson. Not respectful and obviously no research ! Personally don’t feel the creators are interested in the subject matter at all : if they were wouldn’t make such a blatant mistake!!
These actors were all magnificent!
Good information....they all were excellent actors in their own way.
One of my all time favorite movies and I still occasionally watch it.
One of my faves too. I've seen it so often, I know the dialogue and every note in the musical score by Bernstein. That scene where McQueen meets Brynner for the first time and they drive the hearse to the cemetery....blows me away...and the music that went with that scene...such brilliance.
Highly underrated is Horst Buchholz in his first mayor international role.
Great in Tiger Bay !
thanks for the information. WHAT A MOVIE!!!!!!!!💯
Yul bryner, James coburn, Steeve, Charles all my favs.
They were indeed magnifico!
So who are your favs in 2023 ? Shall I recommend Tom Cruise, Watanabe Ken, Pitt, Henry Ford, Will Smith, Jacky Chan, Van Damn and Donald J Trump 👌
All these guys died way too young. Great actors. Memorable all of them.
Died way too young? In the film maybe but not in real life. Only Steve McQueen can be classed as too young at 50. Virtually all the others made it into the late 70s, 80s etc apart from Brynner at 65.
Yup, Elli Wallach didn't reach even 100
Still ones of my favourite films. :)
This music haunted all my life! What a movie!
The film was great and I loved the title music, too
All the cast members died tragically... they used live ammunition
The Legends in Movie Industry
Thank you, Thank you ...Thank You. The first time I ever watched this movie today. I enjoyed it so much and couldn't help wonder whether some of them are still alive today. Yul Brynner definitely my favorite. He got some deep voice on him. I love his voice. May the All Rest in Peace. 🎉🎉
For me, there are two movie that, when I hear the intro theme music, I am always compelled to re-watch them - The Magnificent Seven and The Great Escape.
My two favourites as well
Without doubt!
Both directed by John Sturges.
Steve McQueen. Died at 50yrs.But immortal in cinema history
*Wut KiLLed him???*
@@WalkingOregonDonar I think he had lung cancer from asbestos exposure. Loved Steve McQueen.........now there was a man!
Noteworthy: Steve McQueen & James Coburn were close friends of and private students of Bruce Lee
Immortal in EVERYTHING. 7 Lifetimes packed into a tragically short one.

Wonderful film and actors.
The movie score by Elmer Bernstein was so brilliant........and enhanced the film so much.
Are you a musician ? Your comment is very good and fair. Without Bernstein's music score this movie rating dropped from A++ to B+ . I have to say ✍
The right music invariably enhances any movie !
Yul Bryner was my Favorit US Actor.
Unfortunately he was a rather unpleasant character in real life with a large ego! However certainly a great actor !
one of the best films from 1970s
Was made in 1960
Which country were you in during the 1970s ? You may be right from your own point of view. China ?
Yul Brunner was an brilliant actor.I say he was the most important figure in this film.
Five kings beats 4 aces. "Invitation to a Gunfighter" - Jules Gaspard d'Estaing
We will never see these natural, class actors ever again!
My favorite film, the best casting. Legends!
They are all dead EXCEPT for Yul Brynner he was translated bodily to heaven by Charlton Heston, his old pal from THE TEN COMMANDMENTS.
This was in honor of Yul's tagline for that film; "You'll believe a man could talk to a glowing bush!"
they all died tragically??? No, they just died. Everyone dies sooner or later. What is important is how they lived.
Clickbait , as usual.
It's all lies lies lies.
Good info/timewaster for those of us who saw the movie multiple times - spanning decades!
Best Western I have watched
My favorite actor from all Hollywood stars is Ellie Walach.
Tuco...
👌
I just loved this movie so long ago
The magnificent seven - Evergreen
Does not appear strange that all those actors are no longer with us. People do die as we all will at some point. It is annoying when it is commented that at 80+ or 90+ so and so sadly passed away...what does one expect for them to live forever? Happy for the memories but people die!
just watched this the other day love it
Strange that everybody died suddenly
A great movie with many great actors.,Steve McQueen was my favourite dieing far too young
The best Western Movie ever made.
YES , YES and also YES ✌👌☝
All the good ones are gone. Not many left. 😢 Funny how life is????
My favorite? Well... ALL of them❣❣❣❣❣❣❣
Yul Brenner did an important video warning about the dangers of smoking. He looked directly into the camera and said "Don't Smoke"

"All the cast members died tragically"? We're told when but not how! So how did they tragically die? 🤦♂️
Lol
Clickbait , as usual.
The greatest
C'est très dommage que tout les bons acteurs ne soient plus vivants car C est de grands acteurs que nous verrons plus jamais. Ça comme de grands acteurs
The cast of the magnificent seven

Now, they are all DEAD!!

They're . . . immortalised by this picture . . .
Best western movie

60 years on, could it be any different?!
They were not highlanders, were they?!
Я этот фильм в детстве посмотрел 105 раз!!!
Auch etwas dabei gelernt?
Legends never die ! Respect for ever !
Does every TH-camr feel they have to put misleading thumbnails really it’s getting to be quite old.
Merci beaucoup amitiés
LEGEND IS LEGEND............
Most men on earth die in their 70's. Most of these men died in their 80's probably because they had a bit more money.
Ótimo rever atores fantásticos q já nos deixaram. Muitas saudades de suas 3xcelentes interpretações.
The thumbnail is unrespectful, rude. A shame.
Grandissimi Attori!!!
*I am a NoBody, am 75 & I have OUT LIVED MOST of them!!!*
It is SAD when these actors dye, please use more words than SADLY.daniel & miss cirila.

the clickbait is a work of a genius
Time swallow everything
Tragically? At age 95? And so... None of them died coz of an accident.
Grata! .
Saw Yul Brynner stepping off the aircraft on the Seychelles int.airport 1972/73.
the add for this video is very , very ,missleading
Bernado, Charles Bronson und "Hotte", Horst Buchholz.

"Jorge" is not pronounced as "George" in Spanish..but "Hor-hay..

Unsere Helden aus Kinderzeiten sterben leider
Sadly always Sadly
What about the village boys that loved Bernardo, they should still be alive.
True. Probably in their 60's and 70's.
all gone 😢😂.
It is not funny yes they are gone they were leaving their life and your time will come with me and you will be gone as well when that time come the Next Generation will look back and say they are all gone as well so this is to tell us that you only have today not tomorrow to live your life and be grateful because there's no tomorrow you only have now you don't know what will happen tomorrow we all lose this game of Life none of us is going to win so it's not funny it is their time and they are gone and we are next no debate about that
The day is not over.
🤲
